- Melbourne 2012 vs 2022
I think we will be much better structured defensively in 2013. Hearing rumours Tom Gillies will be in Red & Blue in ‘13.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
A few Essendon supporters rang SEN earlier this morning LH saying Parish was BOG by a mile which I don’t agree with. He only had 3 inside 50s from his 44 possessions, 30 in a half is a fair effort but I thought DeGoey was far more influential in the first half than Parish.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Early days, but a very slick start by the Hawks.- POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
It has become a special night, it’s the kids’ favourite event at the footy these days and they were fortunate enough to soak it all in from up close last night.- POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Rides to work then breaks the 17km barrier for distance covered during the game. Langdon has changed the whole dynamic of this team.- POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Hunt was definitely the hard luck story last year, a lot seem to forget he was part of our best backline last year until injury. His disposal gets brought up often and even though he’s sprayed a few kicks I can’t recall him directly costing us many goals this year. His role has been refined somewhat this year and from what I’ve seen at the ground he has been excellent defensively.- POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Yeah, give me 1-5 any day. Come on mate…there’s so much football left.- POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
It’s very hard to keep winning, even though we didn’t finish our good work from the back often enough, it’s very obvious we are extremely hard to beat. Shout out to Hunty, thought he was very good on Bolton. Petty will be a star if he’s not already.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
53-157 Carlton’s For and Against in 3rd quarters this year.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
You just have to love Mundy.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
I like the title of their Post-Match thread. Canny Crows take a giant dump on dopey dogs from up high. 63-62.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Best dud bounce ever losing a couple of secs. Well done Crows.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Cannot doubt Tex’s skill.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
The Dogs player cannonballed himself head first into the Crows player and was awarded the free. It’s the real obvious ones they get wrong that irks me, but the players seem to be adapting to this rule as you stated.- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Richmond is the only team Weid hasn’t kicked a goal against. Let’s back in for a few.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Last week it was a selfish Devon Smith asking for a handball from a teammate that was lining up 10 metres out and subsequently missing a left foot snap, then last night we had Himmelberg doing exactly the same thing to Flynn. No wonder those teams are struggling when players are making it all about themselves, back your teammates and get around them.- NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Great to see a few Melbourne Premiers beanies in the crowd.- Gus and Gawny is good sauce
Yes, I definitely think they give some great insights about their teammates. I enjoy listening to this podcast, found today’s episode amusing. The boys have been pretty much spot on with their ‘selection’ segment this season and by the sound of it Melksham was very close to getting a game this week. Like hearing from quirky characters such as Hunt and Ed, Hunt’s draft story was an interesting one.- TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Lol, it had to happen after I said I’ve never seen the starting 18 changed before.
