Training pics show Blue 8.10 to Red 3.7. Make them train another 3.5 hours as punishment for inaccuracy. Round 1 will be here before we know it, it’s getting real now.

It was definitely a major setback for him Its Time. There was discussion somewhere that Weid played with sore hips in 2020 you’re right there, I just can’t remember if he did have hip surgery post 2020.

In regards to Weid I don’t believe this is correct. From memory the club discovered a femur issue with Weid mid Feb 2021 and up to that point he was having a really solid pre-season from all reports. The conversation back then was how unfortunate the timing of the injury was.

That was a gift Macca and all Tartt did was return it to sender. My son and I couldn’t believe it when he dropped it but these things often happen in big games, there’s always something to talk about. All the best in the big one Gorg, been on holidays the last couple of weeks and as a neutral with the tipping comp here as the only vested interest I’ve been very lucky to witness half a dozen cracking games.

Costly drop by Tartt for an easy interception at 17-14 in the 4th. That will sting for a while. Two great games again.

Fantastic finals series and an exceptional GF by Jack. The more you watch the GF replay or highlights the more you notice Jack’s leadership and team first mentality off the ball. Leading up to Fritsch’s 4th ( the jump and recover goal) you’ll notice Oliver and Viney run forward after Trac’s kick out of the centre square and as Jack is about to enter our forward 50 at full tilt he motions back to Trac to stay put with the lagging Dogs’ mids. Might not seem like much and some players can be excused for forgetting an instruction or two in the heat of battle but it just demonstrates why we had the season we did.

We get to watch these two blokes throw the ball a while longer. Unreal stuff

Simply amazing last quarter

As a neutral you couldn’t have asked for better finishes so far this weekend. One to go.

Have a look at the top 10 for clangers over the last five or six seasons. All very decent players with Dusty being king.

Demonland needs to write the match reports. A little bewildering McNamara hasn’t been named in the best in the above report. 5 tackles and 17 possessions, her defensive work was ferocious all night. Bannan’s goal was brilliant and it all started with McNamara’s kick into the middle from half-back to spot up Mithen.

McNamara is best on so far. Exceptional half.
