What I find interesting however is how a team like Sydney seem be able to bring in young players like Mills and Heaney who fit the Sydney mold of being lean through the hips and waist and yet strong in the shoulders and arms. It seems to take our players three or four years to get like that (if at all), and yet Sydney can do it in the space of a few months. I realise those two players have come through their academy, but it was the same with Hannebury and Parker.

They don't work for SEN, they simply buy the program which is made by Hutchison's company Crocmedia (perfect name for it). The show, Off The Bench was barely tolerable with Dr Turf, now that Dr Turf is no longer on the show it is complete and utter rubbish. How a company like McDonald's can get the obese Hutchison to endorse their products is beyond me. On another note, I take back everything positive I said about Andy Maher. On his own he is somehow even far worse than before, his interview on Friday with Paul Roos was a disgrace.

I remember seeing Polec in his first NAB Cup game at Brisbane and knowing he was going to be a star.

Even with Roos' obvious love for Lumumba, I'd be surprised if he plays round 1 because of his ankles. I also wouldn't be surprised if Watts misses out, but the rest of the team looks likely at this stage. I can easily see Wagner or White competing for one of the halfback positions.
