This is the correct mindset for the Tigers game. I love our new found full court press, but I won't be sold until we can beat the likes of the Tigers playing at their manic best. They been bloody awe inspiring over the past 4 years while playing with an intensity that Melbourne sides over 6 decades can only wet dream about.

Our recent recruiting has targeted our weaknesses beautifully. Key defender shortage - ok, lets get Lever and May No wingmen - No worries, we've been in Langdons ear for years. Not sure about the progress of Weed - Ben Brown, come on down. Our recruiting (poaching) staff have been as good as any team in the AFL and possibly better than all of them.

Strong defense wins games. Manic, full ground TEAM defense wins finals. Big finals. It appears that the entire list has woken up to this fact.

Team defense is possibly the best its ever been. A bit like Richmond. Wow.

Talk about the heart and soul of a club. Was chased by other teams when we were one of the worst sides in the games history, and didn't budge. He is the definition of loyalty. Don't let him down boys.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts, although I can't recall ever seeing a Melbourne side produce the overall pressure that this side is bringing every week. The kind of pressure that wins big games. It really does (currently) appear that it has finally "clicked" in that the team now realizes what they need to produce week in week out. The Tigers, Bulldogs and Eagles will show us as pretenders, or the real deal.

Nope. Enjoying the wins but fully expecting a run of losses at some point.

To see a guy as tough as Steven May go down the way he did was shocking. A terrible injury that would have his family worried as hell. It's not always about the teams guys and girls. Hoping that the news is good for the May family. As much as Tom Hawkins [censored] me, and as much as I want to see someone serve time for Mays injury, I just can't help but think it was just a (careless) accident. Will watch the outcome with interest.

Don't care about the politics of the lady, only her abilities (and connections) to make us successful. I'd offer that Joe Gutnick would have been from the Conservative side of politics, and he did not exactly set the world on fire. Been watching the Dees for almost 50 years and that was easily one of the best games I've ever seen in regards to relentless defensive pressure. When we've lost to sides like St Kilda recently it's been because we failed to handle this type of defence and now here we are dishing it out.. This is a seismic change in the way the team goes about its job and the type of pressure that can win big games. Well done Dees.
