POSTGAME: QF vs Brisbane
There is no place for doubters now. We can, and I believe will win this years flag.
-
Adam Cerra
We had two first round picks last year, so yes we can.
-
Adam Cerra
But he's young and from another team. Doesn't that automatically qualify him as desirable? I think we've moved on from that mentality.

What is your favourite Demons memory?
The Northey years and the Daniher years. Both provided my fondest memories in football. Finding it hard to believe that a bloke who I had no faith in whatsoever may very well be in the process of taking us all the way. Thanks for the video's guys. Some great viewing and a reminder to our younger members that we really have had some fantastic players over the years.

Dees Snubbed in 30 Over 30
Jeez Geelong are about to feel some pain. If only for that ****ty home ground of theirs they'd be looking at an extended bottom four finish over the coming years.

GAMEDAY: QF vs Brisbane
Don't give the lazy preying mantis (Daniher) an early sniff, and sort our centre bounce structures out and we can put the Lions to the sword provided we bring finals intensity for 4 qtrs. My theory is we win this game, we win it all. But lose and we don't come back. The time is now.

Adam Cerra
No thanks. "Adam Cerra is a certainty to be at Carlton next year with Melbourne the only other side interested and unable to get a deal done unless they traded a star talent like Luke Jackson."

Daisy Pearce wins AFL Media Association Best Opinion / Analyst Award (thread update)
That's what makes her comments so easy to listen to. They actually add something to your knowledge about how a game is progressing that you may not have otherwise known. And zero bogan b.s. (hi Brian, hope you are getting better)

The 2021 All-Australian Team
Impressive. Not every day you are rewarded for watching a video with a new truck.

Daisy Pearce wins AFL Media Association Best Opinion / Analyst Award (thread update)
Agree totally. She shares brilliant analysis during games while keeping the hysterics that many of the blokes are guilty of out of her call. Would be very interested in how she is spoken about behind closed doors in regards to any coaching ability she may possess. Extremely impressive young lady.

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
The way he played this season, he was in the delistable category anyway. Think about it. How excited would you be if it was us he was coming to? You'd be thinking the football department had lost the plot..

Jess Gawn to deliver during finals?
It's not "impossible" at all. It's simply a choice he has to make.

Trade Targets
Surely Norf will be sniffing around? All that cash and no talent to spend it on.

How I feel about other supporters who want to jump on our journey
This seems a strange way to think, when we will almost certainly be relying on either Adelaide or Perth club supporters to wave our flag come Grand Final day. Everyone is welcome I say.

Spargo a ducker?
Def a ducker. Umps should not reward this behavior unless the ducker gets his head actually ripped off, as in separated from his ducking body. Not a fan of ducking. It's cheating.

Lever & May Article
May is the one I will be watching pre-game next weekend. He would be pissing himself with excitement, or [censored] himself with nerves.

How young were you when Barass last raised the cup?
I think this thread has finally put to bed the fallacy that old codgers can't operate tech devices.

Top of the table
I mean really, only the negative nancies ever doubted us...... 😁

Jake Lever Take A Bow
Proven performer on the biggest stage too. Will be invaluable if we make the big one.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
They will all be Dees fans on Grand Final day.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Haven't seen anything apart from the last 2 minutes. Why are people talking up Sparrows game? He only had 12 touches or so. How did he impress? Oh, and tsk tsk to all of you doubters. The new and improved faulty had faith we would win (apart from going to bed after checking the scores at half time). This is the year we win the flag. Get on board and prepare your kids for endless gloating and teasing of Pies/Blues/Hawks/Tigers/essedon fans.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Geelong
I usually feel exactly the same. Something had changed. We are the real deal now. We can beat anyone, anywhere and have shown our best form against the best teams. We are finally primed to win a flag and for the first time in my life I can actually see it happening.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Geelong
I think our 3 inclusions show that Goody is serious when he says he wants to keep winning to establish that winning mindset. I don't think we'll be holding anything back tonight
