Even if Neeld isn't the problem for our dismal performances, he is fast becoming a problem in that he is damaging our brand. OTC harps on about it and as much as I don't like Healy, he is right. Every football show on the air bags out Neeld, papers bag the bloke our and the common perception in the mainstream is that he is a failure. This will effect our ability to recruit players if we leave Neeld at the helm. With all the problems we have had with tanking, etc... This current board, has to go, that much is obvious. Forget the players that might walk come seasons end, that is speculation I won't comment on. But, that aside, we need to recruit ready made players... What player in their right mind would come to this club giving what has happened over the past year? And... What is happening currently.... We need a fresh start... Hopefully Peter Jackson is ready to start the cull.

Of course other sides will complain, their supporters will complain and club boards will complain. But, all they have in common is the self interest of their own club, it's pointless listening to a Craig Kelly rave on about abolishing compo picks or opposition sides worrying about what MFC receive in terms of picks. It's pointless because these people only see things from their own point of view and what is best for their own club. The AFL on the other hand, they see things from a broader perspective in terms of - what is best for the League. What is best for the league is to give every side in the competition a chance to win the flag, the AFL owes this to clubs fans. And.. The AFL knows this, it's a very well run business and the AFL operates in fairness to everyone. We will receive a priority pick or compensation of some sort, because if we don't, the AFL brand is worse off.

We should be aiming for a win, they have Pavlich, Sandilands and the in form Walters out. Can't see why we shouldn't be going in confident. But.. no doubt Neeld has already told the players that they aren't up to Freo though.

The Bulldogs are irrelevant, that is why no-one cares if their form is worse than ours, no one cares about the Bullies. As a club we have had mostly bad publicity, but in this day and age any publicity keeps you relevant and talked about.

I think it is blatantly obvious, but if he wants to go - then it's best we let him this year, instead of next year. But as it stands at the moment, Frawley is probably our most important player.

I don't think Melbourne or the Bulldogs will tank. Both sides probably should be given a second round priority pick, that is about it. With Free Agency, having less good players should mean more money in the cap to spend on Free Agents. So long as Jackson cleans out all the rabble, we should be in a position to land a good name.

Those are VERY good players Fremantle have got out. Yet they manage a win over Collingwood without Pavlich, Sandilands, Fyfe and co. Then they draw with Sydney without even more players going down. Fremantle to manage to etch out wins against top clubs with their superstars out. MFC can't even remain competitive, full list in or not. Ross Lyon would've improved MFC tenfold... We need an experienced coach, desperately.

Paterson's is no curse, it's just that the umpires are so bias towards WC and Freo that it makes it hard to get a win over there. It's no coincidence Collingwood have a good record over there, they have a supporter base that large that the umps have to play fair game.

Yes, an actual AFL coach could do much better than what we've had to put up with since Neale left. Even then, it was Danihers first gig, how about we get an actual AFL coach in - instead of these first year coaches who clearly can't coach. Records speak for themselves.

Actually he wasn't doing much and was on Ellis for a while - who racked them up. Toumpas will be one player who will benefit the most after another pre-season, he needs to work on his core strength and upper body.
