I think we'll be taking McCartin if he is available. It will back up the clubs theory of 1 player not being the savior of the club ie Hogan.

A nice problem to have, for once....pick the best available player and team, regardless of how long the player has been around or their status on list.

Jack Viney wouldn't agree. Said on a recent interview, that out of everyone Howe is the player he would pick to kick that important goal.

I reckon he'll leave if we play him in defence again this year. Just watching him on interviews etc I don't think he enjoyed it as when he was in the forward line. If he does go forward he can't afford to get lost like he used to and needs to get his hands on the footy. Too many times we barely saw him for the match.

Just watched his highlight reel. Other than a couple of average disposals, this kid looks good. I love how evasive he is and how he takes the game on at almost every opportunity.

Obviously like most of us I would have preferred to bring in an experienced mid. However, at least this time we SHOULD be able to develop them properly. Here's hoping both of them become A graders (and sticks with us)!!!
