Great game. I'm amazed on the turnover of our list, the only ones I've noticed so far still with us are Jamar, Jones (with more hair) and Garland. -
How very un-Melbourne like of you... Sounds like a lot of fun and exactly the way I used to enjoy my footy, before kids of course.
-
Exactly. When we make the GF I hope all those fair weather supporters willingly give up their seat for us 35k supporters who have stayed true. Will never happen, but it'd be only fair.

Steven Smith to be next MCC President

Has he got any sons that can play? -
Wow, that is outrageous.... FMD!
-
Haha, white and gold for me.
-
Yeah, it was a great game. Highlight for me was Grime's spoil on Dangerfield in their forward 50 in the dying minutes of the last qtr.
-
Any training today?
-
I have to admit after all the injuries so far, I'm scared to watch our match on Thursday. I've got Foxtel and have already set it to record the game, but I don't think I can handle watching it live.
-
I agree. Pretty bloody simple isn't it.

Pls give $cully a spray for me!!!

Players You Respect From Other Clubs

G Ablett for me also. He makes it look so easy, even when heavily tagged. -
Training - Monday 23rd February, 2015
Wormburner replied to The Devil Inside's topic in Melbourne Demons
Don't know why, last year was so enjoyable to watch the boys play kick to kick for 2 minutes then to eventually turn it over with a clanger. -
That sux, you'll have to keep reminding your tiger supporting son about their loss Hopefully the team continues on the up and up, will make my job a hell of a lot easier!
-
Nice work. I keep reminding my wife who is a Blues supporter of our win against them last year.I keep telling her that if the kids mention Blues I'll buy them more Dees merchandise to continue brainwashing them. So far so good, but I might be in trouble when they can decide for themselves.

Talking Point: Intraclub Practice Matches
Wormburner replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
There's training fit and there's match fit. IMO Interclub matches dust out cobwebs, iron potential creases in gameplan, but most importantly start building a match fitness base to take on the NAB Cup and season proper. -
Intra Club - Thursday 19 February 2015 at Casey Fields @ 3pm
Wormburner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Speaking for someone who has a young family, by the time you pick them up from school it was almost impossible to get to Casey at that time. My kids and I would have loved to go, but would only have made it if it was played in the inner city area. I hope next year is a different story and it is played somewhere and at a time that the majority of supporters can get to. -

I hate the joint. Every time I go there I'm stuck in a massive line to buy a ticket, then I'm put in a crap position with the sun in my eyes to watch it. Sux balls big time. -
The main thing I'm surprised of, is why Hird hasn't been issued an Infraction notice.
-
Thanks. Actually surprised by that. Go Watts
-
I like Watts and hope he can really turn it on this year. Having said that, I do agree. I would love to know how many tackles he has laid in his almost 100 games.
-
I beg to differ, all penalties are determined and handed down by the AFL and not WADA

Christian Petracca - Season Ending Knee Injury
Wormburner replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's that stupid nickname Petrattack that cursed him I tells ya! -
There are a number of clubs at risk still, so potentially there is truth to this. Hence one of the reasons IMO why the AFL aren't pushing for severe penalties on the EFC players.
