You wouldn't do Fitsy picks 2, & 20 for Shiel, Adams and 10. Seriously I don't understand how some people think on this site. The above trade, whilst won't happen, would be massively in our favour.

All this Jamar talk, he is a servant of the club, and will never get to the heights of his AA form again. I reckon they would be more interested in a guy like Fitzy. We can't just offload crap players. I wonder if Shiel and Adams are good pals? Would be good if they decided to both come to the Demons. Trade for Shiels, Pick 2 and Fitzy for Shiel and 10. Then have Adams go through to the PSD. Love that Shiel was a Melbourne supporter growing up

We should offer both Shiel and Adams 400k plus each, both 3 year deals. Offer them way overs, these two players would be massive for our future.

I was told over the weekend that he was going to the Gold Coast. This person knows him and they would of only said that because they were told that. I'm not saying this is going to happen. But they seemed confident that if he was going to leave. It was now the Suns.

How about doing what the Pies did with Hudson and putting Jolly on the Rookie list, then we will find out if he really wants to go round again. Make him earn his spot. I watched the Collingwood Port Melbourne game the other week, jolly looked past it. Hudson looked the far better player.

I watched Port v Pies VFL final a coupe of weeks ago, Jolly was woeful. Hudson was much better on the day, and wanted it more. Jolly didn't seem to care. I reckon he loves himself a bit to much, have to have a crack and Jolly didn't show it. Any wonder they will go with Grundy and keep Hudson as back up while Witts develops. Jolly has cooked it, any club would be silly to pick him up.

I still hope that Wines could end up a Demon.. I'm certainly not ruling it out until he re-signs with Port. That 400k a year contract extension put in front of him still hasn't had ink put on it as yet. I think that says a bit. I've heard from a few sources close to him he had always thought he would return to VIC. A finals win like the weekends might change things, who really knows.

Funny to think we ended up with the man they wanted, and could possibly have Voss coaching under him.. The Lions supporters would have to be shaking their heads at how this has all panned out.. From what I've heard, a group of younger players were the catalyst for Voss being axed as they would sign on.. This might show he didn't have a good relationship with the younger players at the club??

I have thought his year he looked like a smooth mover with good skills. He could develop into a very handy type. It looked, please correct me if I'm wrong, that Brisbane tried using him as a rebounding defender? We have players around the same mark that could excel with a bit more development. ie Strauss. I wouldn't be against his acquisition though. Does he have the go in him to play through the guts?

I must admit, I was keen to get him until I read above about him being a D-head. I don't want to bother with his type.

If we had picks 1 & 3.. I'd be happy to give pick 1 to GWS for pick 2 and Adams.. I wonder if that would make them happy? We don't want Boyd, we need midfielders. The above trade would still give us the best 2 midfielders in the comp.

I've been told Bellchambers has a huge offer from GWS in front of him. Depends what Bombers are willing to offer him it sounds. We must do all we can to secure Adams, If we can add him and a couple of first round picks (midfielders) to our list, I will be happy.

My MFC/MCC membership has been paid. I will go into next season with rock bottom expectations. Too many times have I been burnt at the beginning of the season..

I for one would like to get this guy on our list, with our 4th or 5th pick if he is available. Keep Davey around as a mentor role.. As DF26 mentioned, Choco will sort him out!!

I'd take Dustin Martin in a heart beat, but he has not changed his ways, he still plays up just as much as he always has, no matter how many articles Richmond allow about his new routine working for him.. Proves if you play good footy you get breathing space. But don't for a second believe he is a new man. Saying that I want footballers, but the people on here wanting a good off field culture, this guy won't help that at all.. Could make it worse. But if he gets the ball and puts it through the sticks a couple of times each week I don't care..

It's been reported that a large number of clubs are interested in chasing pick 1 for Tom Boyd. GWS might like to have that power? As having pick 2 won't give them that trading power as those clubs will want pick 1. If we can somehow work a trade with GWS that see's us secure pick 2 and Adams, for our pick 1 and maybe a player to fill a role required, it could get over the line. It might involve swapping of later picks? Who knows. Remember Adams is likely to leave to come home. So would GWS prefer to take a late first round pick or second round pick for him? Or would they like the bargaining power of having pick 1? I'd suggest they'd be keen to float the idea of having pick 1. Like many other clubs.

I've said this in another thread earlier, it seems that the majority on here agree our midfield is the area needing the most assistance. I think we should do a deal with GWS that would see pick 2 come to us with a midfielder, possibly Adams if he is wanting to come to VIC. This would give us the best to Mids available in the draft with pick 2 & 3. Which I'm leaning towards Sheed and Aish. Hopefully we can try and pick up another big bodied midfielder through a trade for a lower pick. This is the main area that needs addressing. And needs to be fixed this trade/draft period.

If Col leaves, I'd say it will be a strong indicator that Chip will follow suit, so if a good trade is put up this year I'd be willing to entertain the idea.
