I'd rather Shiel, but Adams and pick 2 would mean we'd bet the best 2 mid's in the draft pool assuming Boyd goes at 1. We would likely have to throw in a player to get it over the line. Seems from talk a number of clubs would like pick 1, and will inquire about it.

Who cares what GC want, If we get pick 1 it will be a PP pick. I'd rather hunt Pick 2 from GWS and make them give us a midfielder as well. then we have picks 2&3 to get more midfield talent.

If we got picks 1 and 3, If they'd take it, I would trade pick 1 to GWS for pick 2 and Taylor Adams, then use 2 & 3 on the best midfield talent in the draft. We don't need Boyd. We need midfield grunt.

I reckon Col will stay, plus it is better for us to keep him, than let him walk. we need big bodies and senior players, letting him go would be a big mistake. Taylor Adams we must offer bid bucks, need to if we are to be more appealing that Hawks/Tigers. No trading of picks. Just get in good young talent. See if we can pluck a few older heads being starved for opportunity elsewhere. Keep Watts/Howe. Trade Jamar if someone will take him. Not Likely tho. I really think we should pick up Dale Garlett. Especially if we get Choco to coach. Would much prefer to have him running around than a Byrnes or Rodan.

I watched him play against the Bombers at Windy Hill.. Joey Daniher looked like a star in the making, Hogan looked better.. Both will be the best Power Forwards in the game one day..
