I've just gone through some of his highlights this year. 39 goals (with three games to go) from a key forward in his first year is an incredible feat. I love that after he kicks a goal in most cases, he acknowledges the player who delivered it to him.

I always liked Martin and was disappointed we traded him back in 2012. I'd love to see him back at the Dees but I'm not quite sure where he would quite fit in with the team with Gawn now the number one ruckman.

I wonder if we could trade the players we drafted with the two late draft picks we received from Brisbane for Martin. Matt Jones and Dean Terlich could easily slot into the Lions' team...

I remember watching the ANZAC day game where he was best on ground which was followed by him being subbed off the next week. He's a ok player but I hope we're looking at something better.
