Delistings/trades at end of the season
Demon Jack replied to Northern Summer's topic in Melbourne Demons
This is why next year is so important. We must continue to improve next year so we can start appearing as a suitable destination club for players. -
Delistings/trades at end of the season

Not really enthused on Matt Crouch to be honest. A great clearance player but his kicking ability is down there with the Terlichs and Bails of the footy world. -
His first half against Richmond before he injured his hamstring was as good as you'll see from a pressure point of view.

I'm a huge fan of Kent. Has that mixture of speed and class that we missed for most of the year.
-
Frawley was ok tonight but we have Brayshaw. We win by default.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Demon Jack replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
Roos is pure class. Can't believe people are emailing him over a trade that hasn't even happened yet. Although I'm not sold on Melksham, if we get him for a reasonable deal (3rd round pick, maybe an exchange with Howe) then I don't see any problems with it. With guys like Trengove, Petracca, Frost and Kent (plus hopefully a Prestia) pushing for selection next year Melksham way not even be in our best 22. With Melksham, we are trading for depth, not starting 22 players. -

2015 Player Review - 13 Jordie McKenzie
Demon Jack replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I wish Jordie all the best for the future. He's been a great and loyal servant of the club over the last 6 years, unfortunately (as mentioned in WJ's review) the game has evolved past his capibiities as a player. I remember meeting his dad on a tram en route to the footy a few years back. Aside from having Jordie's red hair, he said that his son loved playing with the Dees and always gave his best effort, never leaving any stone unturned. Even today, I would find it hard to disagree with that. He can certainly hold his head up high after giving his all during a very turbulent era for the club. Cheers Jordie.- 31 replies

Don't worry, that just means we'll now have a rampaging Dean Terlich at full forward....yay.

2015 Player Review - # 8 Heritier Lumumba
Demon Jack replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just the 30 odd WWS. Must be a typo in the review. -
Does some ok things but wouldn't have him on my radar. Didn't he kick three first quarter goals in a game this year....oh wait a minute....

I actually rate Spangher more than I do Frawley these days.

Did he say anything noteworthy?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Demon Jack replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
If we are "interested", I hope we get him for basically nothing. Can't see him in our best 22 anyway with guys like Petracca, Trengove, Kent and Frost coming back. -
Might have a few more after tonight.

What makes it even better is that Carlton is one of those clubs now "interested". -

Great result! Bernie still probably has a good 3-4 years of footy in him as well.

BERNIE!!

One vote between the top two...

Gee, now I'm really hoping Viney wins it. That would be a remarkable effort.

N.Jones fifth. Interesting, thought he'd be top three.
