Still hopeful on Prestia but the club has resigned themselves to leave it for this year.
-
Brief summary of what was said. - Highlighted the clubs desire to bring in competitors - Club has talked and made progress with both Melksham, Ben Kennedy . Didn't really talk about what the club will need to give up in exchange for them - Nothing has been offered to Patrick Dangerfield. - Bugg was noted as another option for the Dee's - There is still a chance Howe will stay a Demon. Said decision time for Jeremy is approaching - Watts and Dawes will most likely remain Demons. - Toumpas is looking at other opportunities. - Aaron Black was mentioned as an option by Barrett. The club has not yet considered him as an option - Colin Garland should be re-signed over the next couple days.
-
Yep, didn't say too much that we don't already know. - Said Watts and Dawes are on the table and might be traded for the right deal - Melbourne are into Melksham and Ben Kennedy - We have trouble in appealing as a destination club for the big names. Don't remember anything particularly noteworthy to be honest.

Talking about Parker now.... Apparently moves have been made towards Parker but he has no interest in leaving the Swans. Looking at staying at Sydney with the possibility of signing a contract extension before the end of next year.

Frost is still missing a toe. Should be alright in 4 to 6.

Hi Lucas. Sorry, I don't think the club would be interested.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN KENNEDY
Demon Jack replied to MadAsHell's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm all for it. It's a bit similar to the Melksham case in my opinion. We're not necessarily recruiting players that can slide straight into our best 22 but instead depth players with more upside than your everyday Rohan Bail. Kennedy would be handy backup in case Kent were to go down again. -
This is a joke right?...RIGHT?

Seeing Nate Jones kick the sealer against the Cats the next week makes me feel a bit better.EDIT: Maxy with the three votes!

Hogan polls a couple against the Doggies.

Thought McDonald was hard done by in the first round. Thought he was easily best on ground.

2015 Player Review - # 37 Aaron vandenBerg (R)
Demon Jack replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Was mystified to why he was played as a forward in nearly half of his 14 games. Absolute gun in the midfield. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOMAS BUGG
Demon Jack replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
Would be a very good pick up. Only 22 and has plenty of upside. -
Always non existent during the first half but always rises in the third quarter.
-
The point isn't what these players have done or haven't done tonight but how Hawthorn are allowed to top up their side. O'Rourke is handy depth and may prove to be a good pick up. Also, while Frawley hasn't won the game for Hawthorn, he shut down Matthew Pavlich for the majority of the game.
-
The sad thing is that unless something serious is done about equalisation, Hawthorn can easily do this for another 5+ years. Each year they can pick up a free agent from a struggling club (Lake, Frawley) and trade their first pick for young talent (McEvoy, O,Rouke). DO SOMETHING AFL!
-
Anything that contributes to a Hawthorn loss is fine by me.

Hodge hurt...GO FREO!
-
[censored] you Hawthorn.
-
They still will.
-
Fyfe is struggling badly. Really shouldn't be playing.

With the money we'd be giving him he could buy his parents a new place in Melbourne. Heck, he could buy a new family.
