  1. Jakovich Farmer Jurrah three footballers who brought the greatest excitement to Dees fans in the past 25 years. Love them all Shaun Smith was another cut short Jeremy Howe was in the range but it all ended too soon imo
  2. Brodie Kemp reported to have done his ACL. Huge blow as I had him in the frame for a top 3-4 pick and he would be the type of player that the Dees need. He still might be the one but JT might go with Lachlan Ash as the safer pick.
  3. Nothing much to stand out from Casey. Baker perhaps. I’d almost go with Anb out and Baker in. Tom Freeman is a young Casey player who is a rookie chance.
  4. 6 Oliver 5 May 4 Fritsch 3 Salem 2 Petracca 1 Lewis
  5. Same as prior eagles game. We are so disappointing AGAIN. FFS
  6. Wow. That’s what smart delivery inside forward 50 is. Looks like 2018.
  7. After today there’s only a few more Casey games. Some will be playing for their spot. Delist? (14 blokes could be unlikely to be here in 2020) Retire- Lewis injury queries to continue- Vdberg Jsmith kolodxxxxji highly likely - Walker, Jkh, Garlett, Maynard, Keilty, Probables - Chandler, Josh Wagner, Stretch , Omcd, Spargo,
  8. It was exactly what’s killing AFL. SHOCKING DECISION
  9. Best 22 JETTA. MAY. LEVER SALEM. FROST. HIBBERD BRAYSHAW. VINEY. FRITSCH PETRACCA. TMCD. ANB MELKSHAM WEID HANNAN GAWN HARMES OLIVER PREUSS LEWIS NJONES HUNT (Jsmith Vandenburg would be considered in best 22 if they ever get fit) Tomorrows team has 18/22 so we are getting back. Tomorrow has Petty Lockhart cwagner jWagner rather than Tmcd Melksham both injured and Weid and Hannan really out of form. Probably harsh on Hannan as he had no preseason.
  10. Really. Two soft frees to Lions kills the game. Very soft. Unbelievable in such a contest. It would rip out Norfs heart. If that to the Dees I’d be uncontrollable
  11. Apologies. How did I forget Harmesy. Yes Harmesy is a soldier. He loves the contest.
  12. Wow now Norf get two soft frees in front of goal. These umps are a joke. they don’t even understand the game.
  13. mcstay throws the footy no call
  14. Lions getting an absolute armchair ride from the umps again. Free kicks now 25-14. Was 9-8 at half time. Lots of marginal calls go to Lions yet the Roos have to get obvious frees only. Dees would like that sort of treatment just in one game EVER.
  15. Watching the Tigers-Power game today and the Lions-Roos game tonight, footy is a game on real intensity. If we have not got real grit and energy and desire to win the footy, talent alone isn’t a factor. Loved the Martin-Prestia-Boak-PowellPepper grunt today and the Robinson-Zorko-Cunnington-Ziebell grunt tonight. Tackles Head over the footy Smothers Knock ons Real hard chases and pressure It made me question who are our MFC soldiers. When the heats on, who gets it and looks for the contest. Oliver, Viney yes but who else? Jetta. Steven May showed recently his steel. Lockhart has shown me he has it. Others are harder to identify!
  16. I had questioned the oval condition a few weeks ago. Might need some $$ spent over the summer.
  17. Agree. Start the Lefau rookie campaign. Get him into the AFL program. Definitely has size and pace and goal awareness. Not daunted by AFL listed players. But I’m just not aware how desperate and hard working he is off the track.
  18. Agree. He gets a fair run from the whistle blowers
  19. On the emergency list again for the Eagles. Must be frustrating for him as I reckon he is a player. One to definitely have a chat to.
  20. Corey Wagner. Yes. Had a real crack and can be dangerous small forward. Josh Wagner. No. Too timid. Started well but turnovers are killing us and he does 4-5 shockers a game. This is his last chance.
  21. Cats are blessed when it comes to having a full list. Some very good VFL players not even in the squad!! James Tsitas is a very good player. Good tough as nails lockdown half back yet only gets a run off the bench.
  22. Gains - Max Gawn is a superstar - Clayton Oliver is a potential superstar (if only his disposal improves) - The discovery of Hore and Lockhart as players. - Frosty is a keeper. Sure sometimes there’s the odd shocker turnover (reducing) but he is fast, strong and big. - May will be very very good for us - Lever is back (fingers crossed) - Petracca is getting better and can do so much more - Preuss can work in tandem with big Max - Hunt is versatile and can play forward (though I still think his best position is on the wing) Importantly we couldn’t have as many injuries as we’ve had in 2019. It has killed our year.
  23. Matthew Allen from the Eagles is one player who should be on the Dees radar. The South Australian is now 21 and been on the Eagles list without cracking a game. Won B&F for East Perth in WAFL last year. Good skills and is a goal kicker. Due to strength of Eagles, he can’t get a go. Worth a late draft pick or delisted free agent opportunity imo.
