2018 Delisted Free Agents
Agree. I think delisted free agents should be available in shorter windows. Itâs a very drawn out process and players must have an extremely anxious few weeks after the mental challenge of being delisted.

Apologies. Yes meant whitefriars. Concussion test required!!

SEN: Best 22 and Draft Needs
Preuss to the bench. Gawn starts ruck. Great crystal ball imo for draft. Real depth added. Adds to the pace and height in some positions we need but also grabbing super talented kids. Perhaps Fraser Turner instead of McKenzie at #28 but Mckenzie would be very good pickup nonetheless.

Phantom Drafts - 2018
Bytelâs medicals are the key. His 2017 year was outstanding. He could be the steal of the draft. Likely goes to Bulldogs or Swans at pick 32-33 range.

PICKS # 26 & 31 (formerly # 23 & 28)
Yes he impressed at the combine. Connected to Petracca and Weideman through Marcellin College schoolboy footy. I would think he is still a punt but you never know. At 91 or 80-84 as we end up, itâs a dartboard pick at best. He will likely play VFL next year (Box Hill most probably) if not drafted.

X-Factor, from this Draft ?
Yes agree with Curtis Taylor as an X factor. Sam Sturt is the other top 20 X style player. A different type of X factor is Bailey Williams who could be available at 23 or 28. Can take the game on and as a big forward, can kick 2-3 quick goals if given the chance. For small forwards, Toby Bedford (Demons NGA) and Zac Foot are definitely X factor types. Irving Mosquito has the name and skills to be a very exciting AFL player though hawks have claim on him. (âMozzzzzzieâ) Atu Bosenavulgi is another small forward but tied to Pies via NGA. Pies may struggle to match any call in him so watch out for a poacher club. A classy X factor is Xavier OâNeill. He is not spoken about like the other Xaviers ((Duursma and Oâhalloran) but OâNeill is very exciting and classy in an outside mid role. I wouldnât be disappointed if he ended up at MFC. My biggest smoky X is Harry Reynolds. APS Schoolboy footy remains a very strong competition and he was a standout. He just gets the footy out of nothing and his acceleration over 5 metres reminds me of some of the very good indigenous players.

Sam Sturt
Sturt will definitely be a handy footballer. Has smarts around goal which is always sought after.

PICKS # 26 & 31 (formerly # 23 & 28)
If anyone tries to nominate Bedford in the 20s, they are joking. He is good but lots more development needed. Needs to get the footy more. 10 touches a game is not enough at TAC level to warrant.

Nice thinking but probably too risky for the first time. Iâd suggest it to the Crows and see what they think. Itâs probably only considered if the Crows have eyes on any 2019 draftees from SA.

Phantom Drafts - 2018
If we took Mclennan and Stack before Williams and Turner, Iâd be amazed. Snoop dog must be a Bulldogs man. To pass Bailey Williams twice would be harder to take.
-
Bailey Williams
Yes I see him becoming a key forward and duck relief. Absolutely the modern player prototype.

2018 Delisted Free Agents
Seems like Dees are bypassing any depth types. Assume we r going to load up on 18 year olds? May grab a more mature VFL product like Wagner C or Lockhart.

PICKS # 26 & 31 (formerly # 23 & 28)
Twomey has Bailey Williams outside the first round. With probably Fraser Turner at 28 Big Footy groupies have him coming to us. Kennerley at 28 Knightmare has Bailey Williams coming to us and Fraser Turner at 28 Trend? All that matters is who Jason âThe Manâ Taylor picks.

Phantom Drafts - 2018
Still think #23 is between OâHalloran, Williams, McHenry, Ely Smith and maybe a rising Luke Foley.

Ease up. Clarry is a star. His footy does the âtalkingâ

THE 2018 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT
I think Twomey has got a very very good insight once again. Crows and Eagles next picks. Leaves us with choices around pick #23 Bailey Williams Xavier Oâhalloran Ed McHenry Ely Smith Then probably look at these guys with pick #28 Tom Mckenzie Fraser Turner Jacob Kennerley Riley Bowman (if we donât get Bailey Williams).

Phantom Drafts - 2018
Agree. Thatâs why I rate Xavier Oâhalloran so highly.

Sam Sturt
Agree. We can teach him to speak. Footy talent is shown.

2018 Delisted Free Agents
Always liked the Buggler. Great bloke but his disposal frustrated everyone including himself.

Phantom Drafts - 2018
Bedford is exactly the type of youngster to develop. Dees will grab him. Itâs just which pick and what we have to give up.
