  1. 146 pages wowewwwwww i want Watts to stay. To be part of our success. I won’t argue again on the pros & cons But I applaud the passion shown by all but no more insults we are not Range Rover drivers who ski in the winter. Remember we all love the MFC We are resilient We want that premiership Go Demons
  2. Ten things that I noticed from the 2017 Best and Fairest ... 1. Clarry is a star. Wins B&F in a landslide. He will only get better. Speech was raw but effective. 2. Viney is loved by the coaches. Not at his best but his heart is huge. His raw determination and ability to play injured obviously got him votes. A true leader and I can see premiership drives this young man. 3. Jack Trengove. A champion. A champion bloke. Sadly cruelled by injury. Very popular and all class. Overcome with emotions. He will be missed. 4. Close outcome from second to sixth. I thought Hibberd would be runner up but he was very unlucky as it was a handful of votes behind Jones, Lewis & Jetta. Surprised to see Lewis in 3rd but his value is more than just stats. 5. Daisy Pearce is an absolute star. Hope the AFL and MFC appreciate her for what change she is leading and delivering. We are lucky to have her in red and blue. 6. Nathan Jones. Great speech. Brief ? Perhaps not but very very effective. Gotta love him. 7. The coaching rhetoric of culture and standards. Clearly a message to all and what Goodwin demands. Not since Mark Neeld have we had such military style direction at the B&F. I think we are heading up unlike what Neeld created. 8. Nev Jetta. What a player!! One of my favourites. Rarely rarely beaten one on one. Won us the game v Carlton. Considering he was delisted then rookied, it is a great story. Great reward and well done. 9. Jack Watts is hugely popular amongst the supporters and players. It will be a sad day to see him in opposition colours. 10. The disappointment of missing finals will hurt. It should. Jonesy’s speech showed how much it hurt. I felt a sense of ‘Bring it on in 2018’. Unleash hell !!! Go Demons
  3. Watch Jack Trengove giving his ‘farewell speech’ at the B&F. Absolute champion bloke. Another cursed MFC champion. Hope he gets success wherever or whatever the future brings.
  4. Agreed. Top 6 and then stalled due to injury, loss of form and being relegated.
  5. Plays a Mitch Hannan type role. Can’t see both in our 22 or forward line. Has talent and needs a chance at AFL level.
  6. Well done Clarry. Had a black mark against his name in the preseason and bounced back to win our B&F. 2nd year player and now our best. Huge achievement.
  7. Show me a game in 2017 when Watts showed a lack of effort, application or discipline
  8. Agree Tex Walker will never out train Sloane. Agree Hawkins never will out train Selwood. Watts would never out train Viney Wattsy has skill, class, goal kicking, smarts. Not a common commodity on our list. Has the MFC loyalty we all admire. He did not walk out like Scully, Frawley, Rivers or McLean. Yet he is treated like a catastrophic influence and the reason we missed finals.
  9. Live streaming is stretching the term Live. I don’t think there’s a pulse. Must be a ripping dessert. Humble pie or Bombe-Alaska
  10. Well let him think. No. Nil. No way
  11. Contract been extended to 2021. But then it’s worth nothing so Goodwin would still trade him out for peanuts. What a circus!! I thought MFC was beyond this. Only 1-year post Roos’ recovery era.
  12. Pick 10 should be enough. Maybe also throw in pick 45 if the Crows moan like stuck pigs
  13. Watts was not to blame for missing finals. Give it up. There was plenty of passengers still in 2017. Watts first half year in 17 was excellent and he was one of the best in round 23. We are still hurting about finals but Watts was not the reason
  14. WJ have you had a tablet. Port is in Adelaide. A two team town mad about AFL footy. Maybe he escapes a social bubble only to walk into a media circus bubble. Also walks to a key rival for 2018 top 4. Smart move????
  15. BR this is comical cartoon character assessment. Not agreed. Will respond when I have some time.
  16. I went to the combine testing on Friday. Some really impressed but I was surprised by how many young guns did not test. Some very good talent injured or unavailable. Maybe a few sliders perhaps for the Dees. Andrew Brayshaw is top 10 material. Nathan Murphy will be top 25. Trent Mynott is a pick 50+ type that impressed. Good pace and agile smart ... potential half back wing.
  17. Agree with WB here. Nothing to see about a Jones or any players conspiracy v Watts
  18. No comparison. Jakovich was a 2 year phenomenon and his back/body was struggling. For other MFC fan favourites Woey was pushed out around money The Wiz went home to WA But losing Watts on the verge of our success is hard to digest for the vast majority of supporters. He wants to stay!! Very rare to find clubs kick out players with 2 years to run on contracts and they want to stay. And he is in best 22 definitely
  19. Lamumba Kennedy Spencer Trengove Hulett delisted. White delisted off rookie list Kent trade possible Watts trade probable Additions Lever very close Balic highly likely
