Latest joke of a team
What’s worse in life Receiving a parking ticket OR been given a Dees membership? It’s a poll ... with Dees membership winning 90% of the vote Shows how quickly we have become the joke of the AFL. Coach and players are insulated from the crap we have to put up with in the general public.

Key question facing Melbourne in the off season.
Good article. We have been yelling all year to this. It takes Twomey to give a brief. Ffs.

10 things to see v Kangas
1- some passion and heart for the contest. Last night was an embarrassing return to no respect. Swans rubbed our noses in the dirt and they are rebuilding. 2- Preuss in. Spargo out. Team selections due to no form and no structure have been very puzzling. Preuss needs to be given more time. 3- run and run and kick long. Yes sometimes there is no forwards but we go so slow, the opposition simply flood back and strangle us. Keep two forwards inside 50. At least one capable off marking the footy. Simple stuff. 4- Kick the goal. Our goal accuracy is horrible. Simple shots missed from 20-30 metres in front. Plus “ kick the goal”. We overhandballing inside the 50. It’s like no one wants to kick the goal. They are scared to kick it. We try to run by handball to the 10 metre square. Ridiculous strategy!! 5- lazy footy. Chip kicks 15 metres sideways. Safe and lazy. Salem. Hibberd. Viney play it safe and actually slow down movement 6- Centre square clearances. For a dominant ruckman in Gawn, we LOSE most centre square clearances! Oliver Viney Brayshaw Petracca are all good in the inside 7- forward strategy. Why do our forwards always lead to the pockets. It’s totally stupid. If you mark it or crumb it, it’s a 10% chance of accuracy. And it’s so easily spiked/punched out of bounds. 8- stop leaving the opposition with a loose defender. Rance/Grimes, Hurn/McGovern, Rampe/Lloyd, Stewart/Henry. This week it’s likely to be THOMPSON AND Macmillan just sitting back and picking off our sloppy forward 50 entries with no opponent. So many teams rebound out of our defence too easily. They back themselves to win the footy and destroy us with counter attack skill week after week. Our loose defender has no effect. Man up all over. 9- 2nd effort running. Too many players handball and kick and stop. Maybe it’s the turnovers that have led to no confidence in our forward movement. Good teams , like us in 2018, run in waves and give options. It’s like having extra players. Maybe it’s a lack of fitness. Try this at least for the last game. Just try attacking. No matter what the score, our goal should be 15 goals. 10- play the full quarter and the full ground. Our players switch off too easily. They work for 90% and switch off. It’s costly. It’s the poor handball or poor kick that ruins the run. It’s laziness. The ball is nearly over so we stop. Push hard for 100%. It’s all a laugh and giggle sometimes. We are not ready in the first 2-3 minutes or the 25 minute onwards. We concede so many goals at the start and end of the quarter. Goody should be screaming “switch on” about 100 times a game. Give us something this week. Our year has been embarrassing. Really destroying our faithful and loyal members and supporters.

MFC Members Forum
If we were a business. “We had a record profit and expected continued growth and profitability. Perhaps the biggest profit in 55 years. Unfortunately we lost a key employee and whilst we paid big $$ for a replacement it didn’t work out as their diligence in preparation for us wasn’t up to requirements. Another issue was scheduled leave for many of our key employees and some did not actually return until after their due date. When the employees did return, they were not at the same standard as last year. Also other employees also went on leave, one of the highest scheduled leave rates in the industry. It was decided to let some employees not return for the year at all so they could refresh for 2020. Our competition was prepared a lot more for us in 2019 and our products came up against tougher opposition. Despite winning in key market segments and product capability, it did not end up as bottom line sales that are the main point of our business. Our Managing Director extended his contract, but he seemed to only have one strategy which was better matched by competitors. A mid year management reshuffle was a strange move and appeared to confuse more than build confidence. Some of our key markets saw products sell but just as the product was going to be a success, it fell apart in the 4th quarter to make a loss. Our market position fell to rock bottom only above a Gold Coast based import export business which the Government will support to stay afloat. We will try to restore faith for our long list of faithful shareholders and customers and once again ask them to support us. We failed all our 2019 KPIs and made a record loss. Perhaps one of the largest profit to loss movements in company history. Our share price crashed and the sell off by industry investors and market commentators is extreme. But we think the core of our key employees and products that achieved the 2018 profits result, can be recovered. We look to bring in a few new products, including some fast paced lines and a few young graduates with good results as employees. In 2020 our products will be matched against products which were not strong performers in 2019, and we hope to better manage leave. Less unscheduled leave would also be a nice change. Keep the faith with Demons Holdings Pty Ltd in 2020. “

2019 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
It’s Anderson definitely #1 Rowell or Ash at #2. Serong is ok but adds nothing to our desperate needs. Outside run and delivery of the footy. Ash fits the mould we need.
