  1. Cats staying in the window because Benefitted by having stars like Selwood and Hawkins play 300+ games Playing at your genuine home ground Attract players who want the country life but in an AFL system. Smith and Cameron Atrract players who want to come home … Dangerfield, Rohan, Higgins Shrewd recruiting - Stengle Shrewd trading - Tuohy, Stanley Local knowledge - Henry, Atkins and Stewart
  2. Yes but he can’t just walk to Freo. He’s not an unrestricted free agent. Deals have to done if he wants to go to a certain club. Trade deals. He could go into the preseason draft and have a depressing time at the Kangas or Eagles !!
  3. Whoever plays out of ANB, Sparrow or Harmesy, they (as well as Kozzy and Spargo) BETTER DEFEND AND CONTROL Daicos, Crisp and Maynard. They destroyed us last time with their run and carry out of defence!!!
  4. BBB if fit. Weid out. But who makes way for Harmes?? Did Jackson pass or fail the concussion test??
  5. Hibbo and Melksham could now be looking at being on board in 2023 Jackson ?? 🤞 Baker - probably delisted (or trade to Suns/Lions for “a 4th rd pick”) Joel Smith ?? Might request trade Weid ?? 🚀 Rosman might get shifted to the rookie list to create the 3rd spot
  6. Who missed? Harmes Tmcd BBB D.Smith Mcvee Rosman (Daw)
  7. By compensated, I assume you mean “we negotiate a strong deal”. No 3 draftee. 3 years in. Premiership player. Young agile ruck. Unicorn. That’s worth a war chest !!
  8. Exactly … there are plenty of players that play “in another state”. Absolutely heaps to be honest. Sure sometimes personal matters mean players want to go home but I’m not necessarily hearing that with this Jackson situation. Clubs like Freo see him as the “unicorn” player that can be swayed with a wheelbarrow of money.
  9. Grundy - no and no 🤮🤮 Meek - yeah as backup 2nd ruck if Jackson goes
  10. Swans are very impressive Pace and skill Plenty of goalkickers Franklin very very dangerous 20 tackles in fwd 50 Don’t want them in the top 4
  11. Giants. WTF. No heart. Kill off the experiment now. Western Sydney is rugby league. Players are looking like they’d rather be at other clubs. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Send them to Tassie as the “Tassie Tall Timber Giants” 🤣🤣🤡🤣🤣
  12. Pies have the run and carry game to worry us. Not afraid to take it through the corridor. Missing Grundy and Mihocek from this team. They’d be likely inclusions next week.
  13. Agree WE GOT INTO FREO’S HEAD Teams have beaten us if they play with dare and run. It seems easy to say but it’s often harder to do. The Pies will bring the run. Daicos and Crisp and Pendlebury won’t be scared. Another point to note still. But we need to do more than defend. 60 inside “50s” and 12 goals. We need to get better ourselves in attack. Yes we have a gun defence. A lack of a key forward will be a worry. No Franklin. No Hawkins/Cameron. Not a Mihocek. FFS not even a Daniher. We need a fit BBB at least.
  14. Wow. I had Hibbo marked as a retirement at end of 2022. But he’s got life back into the old dog. His composure and decision making was right on last night. He might still retire but might even get an extension into 2023. 🤔
  15. I watched my daughters under 11 netball and saw some of Sam in the girls. Some were lost and ran around. They tried but ultimately didn’t have the right intensity or positioning to get the ball. I’d like to understand Sam’s mindset right now. Does he really desperately want it ? Really want? Really push himself physically to the edge. He was a talented young sports star who rose on talent and his physical height. But now in the AFL it demands more. Perhaps the coaching and development has been poor. Not sure Stafford is the man for our forward line coaching.
  16. Grouse. Yes he’s not like most skilled left footers. Kicking is high up and under and like bombs to forwards. Where’s the penetration and sharp padding. Young was so much more dangerous and sharp. Salems courage though was unquestionable and still he’s a key player for September.
  17. Ins. Harmes and BBB (if fit) outs. Weid. ANB ANB ran where the ball wasn’t and fumbled on 3-4 occasions that were chances to advance to goal. Disappointing. His tackling was satisfactory. If there is a squeeze, then Sparrow, Melksham and Spargo stay in.
  18. You want Kozzzy You want to talk
  19. 6 Brayshaw and Viney 4 Petracca 3 Fritsch 2 Langdon 1 Hibberd Spargo - special mention. One of his best games after a poor year. That’s the standard now. Well done apologies to Petty, May, Lever, Jordon, Kozzzzy, Melksham Oliver Sparrow pass marks Gawn Rivers Hunt Salem 🤡Jackson 💩ANB 😭Weid
  20. Ummm. Jackson is a unicorn. There’s no other really exciting young ruckmen coming through. He can ruck, play ruck rover and go forward. But he’s still developing. He’s raw. He showed last night that he sometimes has no awareness. Run down. Handballs to other players in worse positions. Falls over. Gets outbodied. But the sky is the limit and his contract value will be based on a high degree of “potential”. If he goes, it’s likely Freo will look at offering a 1st rounder 2022 and a 1st rounder 2023. Let’s ponder if that’s enough.
  21. Last qtr bury them ffs ruthless ?? ffs ruthless !!!!!
  22. 1st half. ✅ 7 tackles in fwd 50. ✅ contested footy 🤮🤮clearances 🤮umps and the crowd ⭐️⭐️Viney ⭐️Langdon 👍🏻Hibberd Spargo Hunt Melksham Fritsch Brayshaw May Trac 🤮Aish beating Clarry in the contest and spread. Clarry must do better defensively (1 tackle) 🥔Weid. Zero possessions. At least some contests. ??? BT claiming Jackson is gone … then saying he’s not sure !!! Tool
  23. Viney is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻
  24. Trac 15-26. 9 out of bounds. From 50. All a lack of confidence!!!!
