Absolutely sensational!!! It was a great result. Watts ran so hard from half back to create the opportunity. And love the reaction. And Jeremy 💩Howe’s disappointing face -
Agreed. Pies have very good matchups on our key players. Though I can’t see Cox dominating like he did in the QB game. That was ridiculous and Gawn/Jackson need to be ready for a physical encounter.

Harmesy to be 100% ready for next week. Would he be the likely medi-sub!!

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
spirit of norm smith replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Father-son does bias the draft but honestly I do love the connection of family to a footy club. It’s great to see Jack Viney in the red and blue, and enjoy telling my kids how good and tough his dad Todd Viney was. Whilst it’s tough to see guns like Nick Daicos and Will Ashcroft not going to the bottom teams, it’s part of footy that shouldn’t be changed. -

@IvanBartul13 thanks IB13. Dees likely only take 3 picks given we mightn’t have a lot of player turnover. Of course it all shifts if Jacko moves west. Interesting and agree that the Kangas should be bold and grab Cadman. They’ve got the Mids in JHF (? Future), LDU, Simpkin, Powell, Phillips and Curtis. They need a key forward alongside Larkey. -
Yes again it’s probably the Cats into Darcy
-
Bruhn for a 2nd round - pick 20-40 range. GWS would be seriously ripped out!! Where do I sign that deal ? He’s got the makings of a 200+ game talented running mid with good contested ability. Agree Hopper is underrated. If he was in a Victorian team, he’d get more focus and notice.
-
Our target should be Haydn McLean. Victorian boy. Big aggressive type. Go play forward or relief ruck. Squeezed out and behind Buddy, Reid, Amartey and McDonald. Swans have Ladhams and Hickey as ruck options. McLean would come at reasonable price and with plenty to show.

Welcome to Demonland: Country Road

In. Country Road out. M.J.Bale?? -
Jacob Hopper tipped as being on his way to the Cats? Tanner Bruhn tipped as being on his way to the Cats? what the ? How ?? What bargaining do the Cats have? Both would be considered 1st round compensation. Cats have 18,36 at this stage so they’d have to trade out players. Sure their lifestyle appeals but they cannot have much room (if any!!! ) in their salary cap.

Thanks WJ. I’m still on the bandwagon for this kid to be rated top 10 in the draft. Key agile forwards (with comparisons to Jeremy Cameron) don’t come around every year.

Thanks IB13. Do you have a rough sketch of your current mock. Do you have Cadman in your top 10? -
Bring it on. Time for Revenge

Hunt provided a contest and run and carry. His pace is something we might need in the next 5-6 weeks. If he can keep his head, I’d be in favour of retaining Hunt. Bowey lost several one on one contests and his usual assured kicking was strangely disappearing. He’s a ripper but time in the VFL was warranted.

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

Hi PSD. Reuben was in my group at about 23-25 range. He’s a good youngster as a inside mid, already played senior footy and looks like a young leader. Jed Hagan is the other West Australian that I was thinking would be in the mix. But I might be a little gun shy of recommending youngsters from WA right now !!! -
Yes we had Goulburn Valley. We had to convince blokes that lived and worked 3 1/2 hours away. Cats were the luckiest. All their local region naturally was allocated to them as well as down the surf coast to Warrnambool.

It’s all academic for the Dees depending on the Luke Jackson decision. If he stays, I’d imagine we would be relatively quiet and look for bargains or a surprising drifter. But with JT, he’s always got a sparkle in the eye. If we get 2 x 1st rounders from a Jackson trade, then it’s game on for JT. From watching a few of the carnival games here is a rough top 40 … (of course Vic Metro and Vic country still to come ). 1-10. Will Ashcroft. George Wardlaw. Elijah Tsatas. Harry Sheezel. Aaron Cadman. Elijah Hewitt. Jedd Busslinger. Jhye Clark. Mattaes Phillipou. Oliver Hollands. 11-20 Cam Mckenzie. Brayden George. Oli Hotton. Harry Barnett. Mitch Szybkowski. Lewis Hayes. Charlie Clarke. Matthew Jefferson. Isaac Keeler. Alwyn Davey jnr 21-40. Harry Lemmey. Josh Weddle. Billy Dowling. Adam D’Aloia. Jaxon Binns. Noah Long. Reuben Ginbey. Callum Verrell. James Van Es. Henry Hustwaite. Koby Ryan. Jacob Konstanty. Henry Hustwaite. Coby Burgiel. Darcy Edmonds, Josh Weddle. Tom Scully. Lachlan Cowan. Jakob Ryan. Max Michaelanny. I think as an optimistic, I’d like to see the Dees grab Finn Emile-Brennan as a NGA player. Hope he sits under the radar in the last 5-6 weeks of the year. Two players that could be interesting to see where they land are Taj Campbell-Farrell at the stingrays (currently injured unfortunately, but who plays like Clayton Oliver ) and Harvey Pedler from SA, a Rostrevor College lad who is strong at the footy, loves a goal and reminds me of Tom Sparrow.
