  1. Yes on phantom drafts above Darcy Wilson would be the “13th live pick” given the amount of father son and academy picks being in the first round. I’d prefer Wilson ahead of Tholstrup as he’s more likely as a hard running goalkicking mid with elite kicking skills. Tholstrup is a good youngster and might be move into senior footy quicker but I think Wilson offers more in the long term. And Tholstrup comes with a potential go home factor as well.
  2. From my view during the championship, Tholstrup is energetic and determined footballer, eager at the contest. Loves a goal. Good aggression. Skilled player. Doesn’t accumulate a lot of the footy. Suited to a goalkicking half forward role. Imv he plays like Cam Rayner or Cam Zuhaar. Would be worthy of the Dees pick 13/14 AFL website profile Recruiters were impressed by Tholstrup's season, particularly his commitment to his role at senior level for Subiaco in their forward line. The forward/midfielder enjoyed a strong carnival for Western Australia and plays with some physicality and strength. He matched it with senior opposition through the season and will do the same early in his AFL career.
  3. Yes that’s a massive call to give up a future first to push up 3 spots. Its a NO from me … but Dees always seem to be super aggressive.
  4. Skilled running mids required ?!?!
  5. Koltyn Tholstrup plays like Camron Rayner… best comparison imv
  6. No trip to the Cattery. Thank you Santa for my early Xmas present. 😃😃
  7. Play twice: Collingwood, Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Western Bulldogs, Fremantle, West Coast First four: Sydney (A), Western Bulldogs (H), Hawthorn (A), Port Adelaide (A) Last three: Port Adelaide (H), Gold Coast (A), Collingwood (H) Bye: Round 6, Round 14 Thursday/Friday matches: 4/0 (Total: 4) Five-day breaks: 2 Degree of difficulty: 49 (equal third hardest)
  8. What a ridiculous statement. Our list spots are tight and we have BBB and Tmcd in the rehab ward every week to try to manage them. Sam Reid would be in the same group of ageing injured forwards. Good player when he was fit but not anymore.
  9. A low chance but still a possibility Demattia has good pace, strength and thrives in contested footy.
  10. Aside from those likely already gone before our picks Reid, Mckercher, Duursma and obviously Walter my listing of potential draftees in ranking of preference is Curtin Sanders Leake O’Sullivan Windsor Caddy Wilson Tholstrup Watson Murphy
  11. Surely round 2 is v pies as a Dees home game on a Friday night
  12. Thanks @ChaserJ Pick “6” (7) likely be looking at Curtin, Sanders, Leake, Caddy or O’Sullivan Pick “11” (13)likely looking be at O’Sullivan, Wilson, Windsor or Murphy
  13. Either would be a very very good addition
  14. It’s a mess already. Why is it called a draw? A highly manufactured scheme is the best description. Imagine if it truly was a draw!!
  15. Dees in the NT The Demons will play Fremantle at TIO Traeger Park on the Sunday afternoon of round 12 (June 2).
  16. Yes. Worrying signs. Crumbling under pressure. Physically beaten again in the contest. Dees need to get the fire back and quick !!

  18. Exclusive: The Crows will again open Gather Round next year with a blockbuster clash at Adelaide Oval, facing Melbourne on Thursday night. farrrrk ! Are we just the AFL punching bag again.
  19. Thanks @dazzledavey36 Grey is a huge loss. Had an excellent 2022 in premiership year and even better 2023. He’s a smokey to get a rookie spot but might again miss out. I think Leo Connolly is an excellent addition. Good pace and run through half back or on the wing. I don’t think Riak Andrew will get drafted or rookied but has real upside potential so would be good to continue his development in a system like Casey (whilst also getting some MFC development).
  20. He’s going to be a star. He has shown all the class, skill, decision making and running ability to matchup in any midfield position. I think he’s a lock to go to the Kangas or if he slips pass them, the Hawks would be crazy not to pick him.
  21. @Nascent thanks for the the Fox sports rankings read. As per my phantom, there’s still likely some players who might drop here and be available at the 40ish range. Taylor Goad. Clay Hall. Joel Freijah. All are very impressive youngsters in this years crop. Ashton Moir could be the biggest wildcard in this years pool. However we will likely pass on the late 2nd round pick 42 (would prefer us to trade it into a 2024 2nd round pick - possibly with the Power).
  22. Eagles … are you saying give us pick 6 (7) for Your pick 23 this years draft AND your future 1st round pick 2024 draft keep talking .
  23. Caddy or Curtin?! Curtin every day of the week if that’s a choice.
