I like your thinking, possibly could get Savage or Hallahan for a bit lower, but if we have to over pay slightly, then lets do it. Also we would need to recruit a ruckman and dome defenders in the draft as i count 4, 5 if you include watts gone. which leaves us pretty shallow. Anyone think we are a chance to have a look at M.Brown at West coast?

IMO GWS would not want draft picks, they would want established players, much like us, thus making trading for him very hard. We are of better hope going for Tyson as you said and offering up some players with the pick (2nd round) as a sweetener.

Curious if anyone is keeping tabs on certain players? Also, J. Owen from the Vic metro side is a very very good player, amazingly athletic aswell!

Can we all just do one thing? If he plays and doesn't set the world on fire straight away, can we all not go calling for him to be de-listed? We have established he is a development player that is showing some nice signs but isn't quite there just yet.

I understand why Strauss was dropped... He plays Watts' position. But i too am mad that he was dropped, he is a good user of the ball and in my eyes, had played some decent games of football. Dropping Nicholson or Jetta and playing Strauss as a small defender would have been the better option IMO. Watts forward is an option, but he too is a good user and we need good usage out of the backline ATM. Strauss very unlucky to be dropped, he will be back soon you'd suspect.

Why is everyone ripping on Mckenzie? He has won the coaches award 3 years in a row... He works very hard, why get rid of players like that?

Played an OK game, delivery wasn't great to him. Made contests and brought the ball to the ground. Lead up the ground well also. Finished with just the 1 goal i believe.

Emergency, Both he and Kent did not play.

Being his frame, I would be a little anxious too. Confidence builds when your body builds.

Honestly, you can't make 4-5 changes every week, players will always feel under pressure. Although that's a semi-good thing, you also need players to feel like they've earned their spot. So, playing one game and being dropped, may make them feel like they were just a replacement, rather than 'The man'. If that makes sense? I say, give those a go who show in the VFL, what we lack in the AFL siimple.

Honestly, I love Blease as a player, but Nicho plays small defence, where Blease is a HFF/Wingman. So nicho got ahead on his role in the team.

Really, Toumpas? He played very well in the reserves last time around, showing why he was so highly touted. Bad call including him in that topic.
