  1. I think Carey was being told to go easy on Rance, he was definitely holding back on what he really thought imo I don't buy the out of character rubbish either, right after he did it he tried to play for a free kick of Jack Viney, he's just a weak dog.
  2. Which is why i'd be shocked if Viney was even fined for his reaction, like you said it's very dangerous and totally out of line, he deserves a 5-6 week ban for that, but because it's Alex Rance and the AFL is soft it will be one week if that.
  3. I disagree, we're winning so it seems that way but i am really not sure it's going that well, i think between the two of Frost and Pedo they're doing what we'd hope one would do, Pedo strong contested marks, Frost speed and pressure. Watts' good form is really making the forward line look a lot better than it actually is at the minute.
  4. I think DD is right and the six day break might be a factor. out: Brayshaw, Frost In: Oliver, Petracca
  5. I was at the game, and agree 100% with picket, he was certainly having an off night but he got to a few contests, bought the ball to ground and had a crack, i think as far as bad days go, it wasn't the worst.
  6. Won't happen in a million years, but i agree with you, it doesn't take much force to do serious damage with a hit like that, it simply can't be tolerated.
  7. 13th in comp for disposals 2nd in comp in contested disposals, 4th in comp for clearances going along okay is young jack
  8. at the end of 2015 i spoke to an opposition player who is a good family friend who was targeted by the MFC, the trade didn't end up eventuating but it was amazing the way our clubs image has changed to opposition clubs, no teams go into a game against the MFC anymore taking it lightly, if we played Hawthorn next weekend we'd back ourselves to win.
  9. Viney was immense tonight, their midfield never stood a chance with Gawn playing imo the best game of any ruckman this year so far, and Viney playing an amazing game as well! I can't remember seeing a mid with that sort of will and 3rd and 4th efforts in every contest, it was like watching Michael Voss play
  10. I consider this to be nearly as bad as what Steven May did, i know that sounds extreme but hits like that can do serious damage when a person doesn't expect it, can't defend themselves. The AFL has a strong stance against coward punches and i would find it really disappointing if they considered something that really isn't far off falling into that catagory worthy of only one week or a fine. 1 week for stupidity, 1 week for a dangerous act 1 week for being a little [censored] and a forth for getting dropped like a sack of [censored] by Jack Viney.
  11. He did play a lot of minutes as a deep forward which knocks the disposal count down a little bit, i think he needs to go to casey because we have guys smashing the door down
  12. Absolutely! and it's very important imo that the AFL makes a stand against this.
  13. the fact Jack could have done nothing to protect his head has to be a factor, it was borderline a coward punch and we know what damage they can do.
  14. We could easily be 5-0 i think even now a lot of people are underestimating just how much we've improved.
  15. Loved that Watts got into him straight after he kicked the goal as well!
  16. And the only one giving a yelp is Cotchins wife.
  17. Disagree mate, i was pretty happy with him, he worked really hard, bought the ball to ground and had a crack, i think he was definitely having an off night, but when you have an off night and still have 16 touches, 9 marks and a couple of good shots on goal, got to be fairly happy with that.
  18. Would be an absolute joke if they gave Jack a week for sticking up for a team mate who had copped a dog shot, Rance deserves a couple for being an idiot.
  19. Roosy just gave the deliberate out of bounds rule a massive whack
  20. Hogan was great today, ran hard, chased, bought the ball to ground, stayed in the contest. he would be in the best handful on the ground had he kicked straighter
  21. I wouldn't think Jack Viney gets a week but a couple of nice fines coming his way.
