The last time i saw a team as ravaged by injuries as what the suns are, they were taking drugs. Not saying they're getting dank'd but geez there is something going wrong up there.

Jesse isn't reading the game very well, when Max goes forward it's he needs to work into space and seperate the defenders, we don't want a pack.

We are right on top here, just need to tidy things up and we'll run away with this Dion playing quite well

Ball use is the worry, have to start delivering it inside 50 instead of bombing high, if we do that we'll win this game

Watched the suns game from last week, looked fantastic for a quarter and a bit and went home early.

I think we'll win this, the suns have been starting well and going to sleep, and we'll improve our output significantly if we tidy a couple of things up

It's really sad that the Hawks go into this game missing imo their three best players ( Hodge, Mitchell, Roughead ) and they will belt the tigers, imagine how we'd go if you took out Viney, Hogan and Gawn in the same game.

Must admit i am very suprised ANB hasn't cracked a senior game yet, he seems to get to the top of the cue and someone else gets picked over him, must be incredibly frustrating.

I do think there are certain moves that have been made that probably don't give us the best chance of winning games now but may help in the future. Roosy loves playing guys like Brayshaw, Oliver and Petracca on absolute jets, let them learn first hand. wouldn't be surprised if Clayton plays a good bit of game time on gaz this weekend

Interesting listening to Drew Petrie saying he thinks we have the best clearance midfield in the AFL at the moment and that's where we're going to have a huge advantage this week. hard to believe coming up against a midfield with Gary Ablett and Dion prestia in it

Really interested to see how the Suns respond, 120 point smashing, 2 hour honesty sessions where everyone had serious questions asked of them, even guys who probably thought they were untouchable. I personally think they'll sook and we'll give them a touch up by 10 goals. i think it's as simple as if we stop Tom Lynch, we win. Tom Mcdonald is good enough to do it, [censored] the zone, just get him to shadow him all day.

I don't think we're in a position where we have any players who aren't tradable if the right offer comes along, It would have to be a bloody good deal before i'd even entertain thinking about it, He makes mistakes but he's an absolute jet of a defender who still has a heap of development in him and i firmly believe that by as early as next season he will be the best CHB in the league. It is also a non issue because he's deep into contract talks with the club so he won't be going anywhere.

So many of these deals happen long before they are announced, the clubs use them as a marketing tool, especially with big name players like Vince and Tommy Mac.

It certainly seems that way, i'm just not sure why, these blokes are missing a year of their career on the back of this club letting them down. I'd walk first chance i got.

Must be good for guys like Rance who have just signed long term contracts to hear the club itself doesn't actually think they can win a flag with this list, no doubt they were telling him the opposite last year when they were desperate for him to re-sign. Imagine Roosy, Goody and PJ sitting down with Jesse Hogan and saying they were going to take short cuts that would make us very unlikely to win a flag because they didn't think the supporters would be willing to wait for a re-build

There were definitely moments of frustration in that period but to my knowledge, what was done was done poorly but with the right intentions, this Richmond situation is different, tanking to get draft picks to build a premiership list imo is much better than building a list that they don't think can get them any higher than 8th.

Well... a team that's list management stratergy wasn't to give them the best chance of winning a premiership, sounds like everyone involved should be sacked, i'd be fuming if i contributed money to a club with that attitude and lack of respect for it's members.

Would you re-sign with Essendon after what they did? I'd refuse on that alone, even before you consider the state of the list and so on.

I felt yesterday was as much a result of our lack of speed and ability to stick with opponents as anything else, we didn't get back in numbers so the zone was awful. One thing with Clarko is people talk about how good they are in attack, and rightfully so, but they're also a brilliant defensive team. we've heard Goody talk about how much he values contest and defense, the contested side i think we're fine, we're going to compete with every side in that area right now and we are going to improve a lot there when guys like Petracca, Brayshaw, Oliver and Trengove get into form and into the side. right now we're not getting the balance right, our attack is infinitely better than he has been in a long time and we are kicking 100 plus points without relying on Hogan which is a huge improvement and allowing us to be more enjoyable to watch, but we are also leaking goals pretty heavily to do so.

I wonder if we still had Martin would Gawn have had the opportunity to develop the way he has? it would be handy to have Stef back now, but extremely happy with Gawn who i'd consider to be the second best ruckman going around, only just behind Goldy

i wouldn't mind seeing Hunt go out for Trengove, and him playing off half back, we lose a little run but he's a beautiful kick of the ball, a fantastic endurance hard runner and has some footy smarts, i think he could play the role Cross did last year and be a steadying influence off half back Oliver is clearly super important as a clearance player and i'd bring him back in and the other is Stretch, he brings effort and run! one of him or ANB needs to play this week. Outs: Harmes Hunt and maybe Kennedy?

Would be wanting serious coin. I'd be nearly as tempted by Dyson Heppell.
