The skills in this game are soooooo bad! it's like Essendon has put Mark Neeld in charge and Carlton are just being carlton

We haven't found the balance, which i suspect comes on the back of the players being confused as much as anything else. Our offensive ball movement and ability to score is now at an acceptable level and that's great, but we're neglecting defense to do it, we only see to be able to get one of offense and defense right which is why we can now kick big scores and win games, but we aren't smashing them, we keep leaking easy goals.

I agree to a point that the coaches didn't do enough, but it's really hard for them when the players just aren't running hard enough, the Saints totally outworked us, they killed us on transition with speed and skills and we didn't work hard enough to put pressure on, just gave up and let them move it easily.

They wouldn't beat a few of the VFL sides at the minute. they're disgusting

I thought Petracca showed signs, especially considering how badly the side played. I'd definitely keep him in the side, though i 100% agree Oliver should never have missed this game, he's already very important to our setup

Tigers are in a world of hurt and i think they're going to have to make a move on Dimma sooner rather than later, they expected to be competing for a premiership this year and they'll be fortunate if they aren't bottom four the way things are looking at the moment. I think they should Sack Dimma and get a whole new coaching panel in, begin a full re-build Trade guys like Lids, Maric and co to get some first round draft picks. they still have Rance, Cotchin and Rewoldt who they can build a young team around. Lids would be a fantastic get for a team in contention and probably worth a decent pick. Maric would be handy at the MFC to give us some ruck depth

He's playing a role, he's pretty accountable, hard at the contest, leading our side for tackles and he's getting under the oppositions skin, his role last week was huge in the win

Having calmed down a little i don't think there will be any huge amount of changes. Harmes and Frost orPederson out Oliver and ANB in I still think we're playing with one to many tall forwards, Hogan, Frost/Pederson and Watts is fine Might seem extreme but i think Kent should be on notice, some weeks he's great and provides a lot, today he was nothing but a passanger, we aren't good enough to carry anyone.

I'd stick with Petracca at AFL level and Brayshaw at VFL for now, let Gus find some form ANB has been in good form so bring him and oliver in

I think offensively we were okay, but defensively we were really shown up. Imo the biggest reason for that is work rate, our game style holds up but only if the work ethic is there, today we just sat there and watched the ball and didn't man up or show respect. Kicking 96 points again is a plus but we can't neglect the defense to do it. our lack of speed on the outside is a serious concern.

The deliberate out of bounds rule has gone way to far, they're umpiring it as though it's the last touch rule, several examples of balls coming off the side of the boot and getting calls of deliberate. the AFL seriously needs to look at this, it's an absolute joke at the minute.

Roosy basically said we were outplayed and never really got our game going. Didn't mention we were utterly out coached.
