Gus will be fine even now you can see with some of his touches the class is still there. just needs some time to find his feet again and maybe a move further up the ground

I think he is struggling to get into the games as a forward, to me he looks much better when he has bursts in the middle, but struggles deep forward with knowing how to get involved. probably slightly down on confidence as well, i personally think the role he's playing is much more suited to Petracca

Our handballing in tight as a midfield is as good as any side in the competition, we are able to flip it around so cleanly!

I wouldn't underestimate how important Dunn's kicking has been to our ability to get through a forward press this year, his ability to kick an 80 meter barrel is something i know for a fact opposition teams have to think about.

Agree, it's quite strange, he can appear timid and then five minute later you see him going back with the flight Luke Hodge style, i don't think he's scared at all, i just think he's got a bit of development to go like you said.

He probably pushed it a bit but i loved his game, you have to be close to the line to get in their heads the way he did and it was a big part of why we won the game.

Again, he used to do this once or twice a season, now he's doing it 3 out of 4 games, for mine he's the 3rd tall in the All Australian team right at this moment.

Absolutely love the way Bernie got around Hunt after that brain fart, i think anyone who has played footy for any period of time has had a moment like that where you just totally muck something up, it's not the end of the world, great leadership by Bernie. He and Nathan Jones seem to have a bit of good cop bad cop going on, Nathan is the hard edge captain and Bernie is the experienced good bloke, both can be quite firm but they seem to really work well together as the older leaders.

Agreed, Hunt saved at least three goals with just desperate pressure acts and his speed made a huge difference on offense.

Grimes despite all his loyalty, effort and passion for the footy club is sadly a limited footballer and for us to be a consistent finals side players like that can't be anywhere near our best 22, i hope he gets another opportunity at a young developing club that needs some experience and leadership.

He's done a fantastic job for the footy club but i don't think her will have any formal role past this year, Goodwin needs the clear air to make his own mark.
