Brizzy are going to throw everything at us. For a bottom team they have really had a dip all season, and their midfield is very solid. Rockliff and Beams are in great form and combined for 7 goals last week. Zorko has been in AA form all year. Stef Martin is controlling the ruck. We had better come switched on or it could be a disaster.

Her mail is better than anyones. He definitely met with us.
-
No, but 0 tackles at VFL level is pitiful.
-
Yup. Thats another alternative to resting him. Play him full forward , out of the goal square. He is very hard to match up on. He beat Michael Hurley earlier in the season playing permanent forward.

how did Ollie Wines get cleared LOL The MRP never cease to amaze

Another 4 votes from the coaches and hes into 6th place. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-08-14/aflca-votes-round-21-cat-claws-back-lead Must be a massive chance for the AA team. And he should be joined by his mate Hibberd.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-08-14/surgery-to-end-demon-forward-dean-kents-season Demons co-captain Jack Viney arrived at the club on crutches on Monday morning, but it's not uncommon for players to be put in moonboots or crutches the day after a game to remove some load, according to Misson. Viney has been pulling up sore after games following the surgery he had on the plantar fascia in his foot in July. Melbourne is not ruling out star forward Jesse Hogan as he continues his rehab from a broken collarbone. Hogan started running last week and Misson said Hogan was 2-3 weeks away from a return. "Jesse's tracking really well. He's starting to do more running in footy out on the track," he said. "He's starting to lift heavier [weights] in the gym, but he's still got a few boxes to tick."

Depends how you define breakout game, but hes a very good chance of polling 3 Brownlow votes vs Essendon and vs the Pies on QB.
-
Now leaning towards him being rested, as the corrupt AFL have given us our ninth 6 day break going into the Pies game. If you think Tracca looks tired now, imagine him in round 23. Maybe they can freshen him up with light training this week, but that may not be enough. The Brisbane game wont be an easy one, they will come at us hard.
-
Well its the day after, and it apparently really happened - we stood up with our season on the line and beat a team also fighting to make the finals. I guess this means we will lose to Brissy this week?
-
What's there to positive about, I mean we are only on the verge of our first finals series in 11 years, have a great coach and one of the most talented lists.
-
6. Pedersen - 26 disposals, 8 marks, 6 tackles, 2 goals... dynamic.5. Captain Jones - you think he was going to let a finals chance slip?4. Clayton Oliver - sneaky chance for more Brownlow votes, never gets tired. Truly amazing season.3. James Harmes - got us going in the first, his third goal was magnificent2. Angus Brayshaw - What a return. Racked up the footy and hard as hell. Not hard too see why we spent pick 3 on him.1. ANB - was everywhere, doing the team things, and winning plenty of the footy Unlucky - Jordan 'Mr September' Lewis, who is building at the right time. He knows exactly what hes doing. The backline who worked great as a group.

The goals he kicked from outside 50 were so effortless. He didnt even really need to wind up, and he kicked them with ease. He has a beautiful boot on him and I bet he kicks a bag of 5 soon enough. And hats off to Goody for finding the perfect role for him. -
And thats where Jordan Lewis does his thing. He will be salivating at the prospect of a cut throat elimination final.
-
2007-2014 How the hell did we survive that

I would give Tracca a very light week on the track. Resting him now is insanity, unless he is so sore he can't contribute. But he seems just generally fatigued. We have two games to go, and if we get the job done we get a week off before the first final -then guys can rest. That break will advantage us more than any other finals team as we will be the youngest one... like the Doggies last year.
-
Why the Hogan talk? He broke his collarbone two weeks ago. Surely a pipe dream, as nice is it would be.
-
The is absolutely a directive from AFL house to hurt us in any way possible Dont believe me? Why were we given a 6 day break in round 23 then, our ninth of the season, more than any other team. They had all season to get that fixture right and they screwed us.

So I am gonna assume he will be in the AA team. We are on the verge of finals and he has been phenomenal. If they put Howe or that Docherty bloke from 5 win Carltank in ahead of him the selectors should be hung. -
Of course he will make it. He turned 20 a month or two ago. How many times does it need to be said that big guys take time!!
-
You can stick a fork in St Kilda. They would need to win their next (Kangas, Tigers) two by a combined 200 points just to make up %, and theyd then need us and the Doggies to lose a game. Theyre finished, adios. West Coast have GWS and Adelaide. THey are in trouble. Essendrug have a danger game this week up at the GOld Coast, and an easy one in ROund 23 at home to Freo. THey would need to win both and have Melbourne or the Doggies drop one of their last two. Smart money says Melbourne and the Doggies will make the 8.

Wow, just noticed the AFL have used their rolling round 23 fixture to slug us with yet ANOTHER 6 day break. Our 9th of the season, more than any other club. No other finals contender has a 6 day break in round 23, in fact the majority have 8 days. How the hell is this fair?

12 goals in his last 5 games. 10 straight games with at least 1 goal. Anyone still think a 2nd round pick was too much? This guy is a professional and the perfect team player. -
Sorry to pick on you Bobby, I remember this post giving me a good laugh the other day and had to bump it. A good reminder to anyone who thinks Watts is vital to any success we have.
