Yup. We had some good years, but we were never close to being great. Even when we made the Grand Final in 2000, we missed the Finals the following season. Top 4 in 1998, missed the finals in 1999. Top 4 in 1994, did not play finals again until 1998. The finals drought from 1964 until 1987. The finals drought from 2006, still currently going unless it ends today. We have been a putrid club for so long. No flag since 1964, no MFC player has ever kicked 100 goals in a season, worse than Fitzroy from 2007-2014, less All Australians than any other team, statistically woeful compared to every other team, no superstar players in the last 50 years while every other team has had multiple of them. We are just a nothing club.
