Out: Pederson (just not doing it for me at the moment) Sellar (worst AFL player i've seen to be honest) Jamar (shower of a football player now, had enough of his crap) Brynes (needs a week off and a good game in the VFL) In: Dean Kent (love the kid, give him a run) Spencer (at least he players with some real passion) Watts (get him in for gods sake!) Mckenzie (love him) Sub: Kent Stop with the constant talls and get onto moving the ball with aggression and quickly. Loved Evans last week and we need to serious ball movement to keep on going.

Those of you saying we wasted a pick and the Toump will be nothing have no clue and should shut their mouths. The kid has played 3 games, in an average losing margin of over 100 points. Enough and shut it. The Toump will definitely show something throughout the year and will grit his teeth and fight like a gun. There is a reason he was so hyped, and you'll see it. We have seen it with Watts, just not with consistency. I BELIEVE Toump is even better. Have some bloody faith

hold your judgement. Stop being so ban wagon and have some faith in a 19 year old, wtf. He will be a star and just needs a chance. I say, play him against GWS in the middle and watch him tear it up

trully, a real captain and leader of the Melbourne Football club, onya Grimsey

either 2 things will happen. 1. Melbourne will put in a good effort and it will be a VERY tight game, maybe even Melbourne could snatch it. But they will put in a good hard bodied effort, showing some fight. 2. We will get smacked around and possibly lose by another 100. There will be noinbetween 6 goal loss, it'll be clear cut. Also WCE eagles havent won at the MCG since 2010.

although sylvia in my opinion is brownlow medal type of player if hes on. I think that Col will hit his stride this year, as will watts. It's pretty hard to do well, when we DONT TOUCH the ball.

i'm 16 and very sober. You just have to accept that there is no hope.

Couldnt agree more, but the players need to look in the mirror and have a look at some of the supporters.. I was almost happy when Jack Watts got subbed off, to see the end of this kid.. He's got a rotten attitude

i have expected an improvement . any improvement

Im not sticking up for Melbourne because i am over it all. But i genuinely think that before the season, he thought melbourne could do great things. His beliefs are folding before him eyes

are you effing serious. I dont give up, i am fed up. This is a waste of my time and life

I honestly think he had been crying alot, that looked like a guy who was holding back tears on camera. Trust it, he cried.

To be honest, became a comedy show. I'm actually in a good mood, dont even know why..

LOVE THE NAME FOR THIS THREAD!

tonight became funny after a while. I have given up for the year, i will go to the footy because i want to get my fathers moneys worth for my redlegs membership. The axe will be swung, players will go, supporters will leave. Who cares

Melbourne need a leader and im sure Jack will do his best to lead them. But he is definitely underdone

Melbourne lack a huge lot of things, but from my point of view what we really lack it. Someone like Liam Jurrah, someone who can turn a game, turn the crowd on, and bring people to the MCG just to watch pure brilliance. Melbourne currently have no one that i would come to the football for, i come because i am a passionate Melbourne fan. Melbourne need someone that can break the lines, kick the freakish goals and take the freakish marks. The whole match on sunday i was waiting for something really exciting the happen, and it just never happened, because we lack one or two pure excitement machines. Colin Sylvia has the potential to be one of those players, but at the moment he lacks that general flare and excitement. We need a fire starter

What's the go on him, no real news? will he be fit to play? or will we have to wait to see our skipper?

Although there are many keyboard warriors on here and Fanfooty.com.au i do agree with a whole lot of the keyboard warriors on this website, but my issue is that when push comes to shove the keyboard warriors cant back themselves up

Mark Neeld is a really good coach in my opinion. He has trained the players to train like a professional team. It wont be long before they play like one, have faith.. they want it more than we do
-
Imagine if on Saturday night, Melbourne go out there and get absolutely flogged by the bombers. We are as bad as we were on Sunday and we really show nothing, AGAIN. What happens than? does the S*** hit the fan?
-
We deserve to get completely ****ed on for the next week, hopefully the players may open their eyes for the upcoming rounds. I hope that every player hears what the media says about them. They need to hear it
-
IN: Jack Trengove, Chris Dawes, James Magner, Dean Terlich, Tom McDonald OUT: Tom Gillies, Luke Tapscott, James Sellar, Nicho, Dunn

We are all passionate Melbourne fans.. we all want to say that we have improved and may be heading in the right direction and we can improve. But i honestly do not think i have ever seen a worse match in my life. I have NEVER seen Melbourne play that bad before, i have never seen so many half assed efforts on an AFL field. We did not even look to be trying. How the **** did Port Adelaide consistently have players roaming the field, most of them had the time to have a bat, that go to the local pub and than maybe they could get a kick away. We are a crap football club heading nowhere and i suggest even lower your expectations. Going to be the worst year we have ever experienced in AFL

With the draw that we have.. I reckon that we should finish about 10th But if we can get our things together, we could challenge for the 8. Alot depends on the impacts of Mitch Clark, Chris Dawes, Jones, Rodan and Brynes. These players could seriously impact where we finish on the ladder.. But obviously we could have another disaster and finish in the bottom 4. I do not think at the moment we are capable of finishing in the top 6, maybe in 1-2 years
