  1. 2011. Melbourne v Adelaide. 26 disposals, 4 goals, 7 marks and 9 tackles. Goldcoast v Melbourne 31 disposals, 7 marks, 7 tackles, and a goal. Melbourne v Richmond 29 disposals, 4 marks, 4 tackles and 5 goals. all those matches he got a total of 8 votes. If he can hit that consistently, hell dominate
  2. I do believe Colin at his best for 22 matches. A huge season. He could pick up votes, alot of votes. Colin at his best is a complete game breaker and changer whic would see him pickup votes
  3. i liken him to Pat Dangerfield before the season this year. Every year is the next year that he is going to explode. Although Patty is younger than him. Im hopeful he does a Pat Dangerfield
  4. I think that Col definitely has the potential to explode in 2013. But he is in need of a full preseason and injury free run up until round 1. He needs everything to be full and perfect. He could seriously be the focal point of our team in 2013.. if he further breaks out. Brownlow potential
  5. probably most of the games he played. I notice him also because my brother used to go to school with him at BGS and Whopper also. i also dont miss matches, i watch all replays of everything/
  6. i dont care what anyone says.. this boy should come to Melbourne.. make a too good to refuse offer and get him in.. would be great off the halfback line
  7. you did not need to make that comment, as you were probably fishing for likes. It's not about wishing. its about having talented players and bringing in experienced players, and them finally showing something as a group..
  8. I agree the future looks bright. But 50-70 games for all those players is going to take 3-4 years. I want to be in the eight by 2 years, im sick of losing
  9. in my opinion it might not be about what we are lacking.. its what we are waiting for to develop. If trenners, Sylvia, Tmac and a couple of others bring there game up to another level. we wont be lacking that much
  10. Dawes, Pederson, Rodan and Brynes are going to look so good if Mitch, Trengove, Sylvia, Jones, Grimes and Watts have great yeears.
  11. yeah totally agree. But i think if we had taken that approach with Jack Watts, he'd probably never have played an AFL game
  12. Yeah thats going to be an option for all clubs. In 1-3 years it will be the chance and time to poach off GWS and Gold Coast, just like they poached our players. Lets hurt them more than, they hurt us with Scully!
  13. This is just my opinion, but Bail is one of the most up and coming players that i seriously love.
  14. agreed, that Bail and Rodan will play a similar position. But i will not be happy if Rodan pushes Bail, out of the team
  15. My top 5. 1. Jack Trengove 2. Colin Sylvia 3. Tom Mcdonald again 4. Jack Watts 5. Dan Nicholson
  16. i shall quote the heraldsun. One club scout recently said if Wines landed at Melbourne there would be "explosions" in the centre square, adamant the pair were the toughest inside midfielders in the draft pool.
  17. Rodan will not fit in our midfield.
  18. Caroline Wilson is one of the most disgraceful reporters of all time. She talks rubbish and will do anything to feel the need to bag out teams. Wilson will do anything in her power to say we are guilty, even if we aren't. A rubbish reporter who deserves nothing
  19. Dear AFL, Melbourne may seriously be guilty of tanking. Dean Bailey may have been a fruitloop and a useless coach. But since than, we have new players, new staff, a new breed. We do not deserve anything but a reprimand, do not punish the new breed of demons for something that the old crew did, when the new crew was not involved. If you do decide to punish us. Investigate Carlton, Collingwood, West Coast and many other teams who have "tanked". You guys set the rule of the priority pick, dont expect teams to not take advantage of it.
  20. I think that really the only iffy pickups are Rodan and Brynes. I dont believe there is space for both of them in one team. Maybe we should have just gotten Brynes
  21. agree i do not think he will fill the void for Rivers. There will be other roles that will replace Rivers.
  22. i agree with most of what you said. After one year under Neeld we dont know if he is a good coach, but i feel like he has a good plan. Neeld still didnt produce anythign but under par performances for the whole year
  23. Lets hope. but lets be honest, we have no proof Neeld is a good coach with a good plan. I mean this year wasnt exactly a success
