I dont think Melbourne will really be focusing heavily so much on picks outside the top 50. It was important for us to get Dawes and Brynes to inject some experience into our side. With 2 first round draft picks this year (pick 4 and Viney effectively).. we have exactly what we want. Hopefully with another 2 preseasons with Hogan he will become a beast. We need to stop with the youth and develop the amazingly talented list we have

the problem is, he isnt a back pocket. hes half back floating into the midfielder. hes very good at that . i cant believe ross lyon didnt play him there

Wines is going to hopefully if GWS dont snare him be the best player for pick 3 we can get. If we pick him up, it would be crazy not to develop him and give the boy as much gametime as possible..

I dont think Dunn has lived up to his potential. But he showed a little bit towards the end of the year and i guess we will see. I wouldnt cry if he went to another club, actually to be honest. id be quite pleased

Yarran has shown way less than Watts and will be the player who becomes "next years" player. The player every year that the team expect to break out but never does. Watts broke out this year, in the middle of the year.. just you wait for next year.

Firstly that's not funny, Yarran is crap. Watts is a gun... he played some real Goddard like football this year. Would not want to trade him! I would honestly trade pick 4 and Watts for Cotchin.. thats it

HOW DARE ANY OF YOU DIS JACK WATTS ON THIS THREAD.. Jack Watts was probably our best player in the middle of the year and basically won te game for us against Essendon, by being in the right place at the right time. Watts not only has a pristine kick, also makes near perfect decisions. He may have a little to go in the courage.. but hell get there, with some confidence.. Jack is a brendon goddard in the making and yes it took Goddard time. So why dont all of you lay the hell off and watch him dominate 2013
