yeah i obviously mean in defence... Rivers leaving though would leave a huge whole than and i would like Josh Toy to replace him there. I still believe that we need one more forward though and some gun midfielder.

I reckon the best out of all the young players though are Josh Caddy and Josh Toy, Josh Toy would fit right in especially if we lose Rivers. Josh Caddy and Jack Viney would be a delicious prospect lining up with each other alongside Trenners,Jones,Sylvia and Grimsey

Brendan Goddard (but we aren't going to get him) 8. Travis Cloke 9. Clinton Young 10. Danyle Pearce I guess maybe we could have Young at 6 instead of Nicoski. I love Goddard but I can't see him coming to Melbourne

Wellingham would be nice. Montagna out of question as well as lenny. We arent picking up cloke i dont believe after what Needly said. so far: Wellingham, Caddy, NickyDal, Kurt Tippett would be pretty good. Boak but i think thats unlikely, i would have loved Mackay but he resigned today. What about Chance Bateman?

Benny Jacobs would be great.. would work well with Watts, both fellow Brighton Grammar boys.

I do not think Sylvia should be traded, but Luke Parker would be a great pickup, much like Caddy. We better do something this year because this year we have a good window to pickup players

"we may not be prepared to use a high up first round pick on Viney" Mark Neeld. this is off the age. The age also goes on to say. The demons were not adamant that Viney would be worth the high first round pick and that by some recruiters Viney is a second half of first round pick. Montagna would be great, like supreme pickup. If Sylvia goes I would be so angry, possibly the best player to walk through Melbourne's door right now. Sylvia is a class player and i dont think that Sylvia had any discipline is his game. Colin was only getting over an injury in the first 9 rounds of the season. It would be a shame if Rivers were to leave Melbourne because he is actually a pretty good player, but we would get a pretty good pick up for him.

You're right about he could be ok, but we have a "war chest" for a reason, to pick up guns and i have watched him in his 2 games that he's played and doesnt like look a gun, he likes that he could be an ok player

I think Cloke could be okay especially with Howe and Mitch Clarke supporting him. Clinton Young looms as a good pick up for Melbourne if we can get him. Lenny Hayes is a maybe only because of his age. I'd pay for Caddy as i really really rate him.

I completely disagree. I am not sure if you have watched the TAC cup or not but Nathan Hvorat as an example shows more class than Viney and is very similar in the way they play just way more polished. Viney is NOT in the top 5 players in this draft

Personally, if we have to pick up Viney for a 1st round draft pick say pick 4 ish.. its not worth getting him at all. I think he has potential to be a superstar but there are so many players that are just like him, especially because this years draft is superdraft and i think that there could be 3 or 4 "vineys" and maybe even better than him. For a second round pick it would be unbelievable to get Viney and 2 other picks at 3 and 4

I don't want Melbourne to pick up just for the sake of picking up, we could use picks instead to develop. So who do you guys think would be a good pickup or pickups
