And thats with go home factor. Josh Mahoney would laugh in CP5's managers face if he said that Patty has offered to take CP5 fishing in Moggs Creek and while he's nether been there it sounds pretty cool.

I heard that the so called leader is Max Gawn, the younger players is upset that he's stealing their votes for the BnF.

Brad Hill wants to live in Vic. Hogan did the right thing by us by staying when his dad was sick and the decision to return home was a personal one, we facilitated the trade because it was the right thibg to do. Steven May spent 8 years at a club that was about to embark on a third rebuild, he left for a fresh start. I cannot see a possible good reason for Trac to want to leave this year that would motivate the club to even entertain a trade.

Lord - He's a contracted player who did not grow up in Moggs creek. I think people on here are overreacting to even think there is a possibility that Trac won't be playing for us next year.

Admin, can we merge this with the 'Get Izzy Falou' thread?

There is absolutely zero chance we would trade Trac. He's been super consistent this year and with a strong off/preseason will start to win games off his own boot. That he wants to play more midfield is a real positive as it will drive him to work hard in the offseason and have a big preseason.
  8. Whether Garlett is on our list will come down to whether he can apply forward pressure. With his shoulder injury this year its unfair to use this year as the sample.

BBO, like two bulls in a paddock it doesnt always work

Earl Hood, while I appreciate we're bottom two and only won 5 games I doubt we will turnover 10 players. We have four retirements - Lewis, T Smith, Maynard and Keilty, maybe one to two traded and probably a couple delisted. I can't see more than 7-8 changes. I also don't think our situation is anywhere near as dark as when Roos walked in and expect we will bounce back quickly next year. Whether that means we are at the pointy end or battling for a position in the 8 will com down to how well we address the issues from this season but I cannot see another bottom 4-6 finish.
  11. Suspect he will end up at St Kilda, would fit right in.

I'm ok with 3 on the basis that if he starts to slow down he plays VFL and transitions into a development coaching role. Suspect $ and ability to play AFL for 3 years may lure him to the Gold Coast.

I'd argue Daniel Cross and Bernie Vince had as big an impact as Jordan Lewis despite the former players having not won a flag. Also I reckon Crossy migjt become a development coach for us next year.
  14. The positive is that they are getting to play together to start to get some continuity, [censored].
  15. I reckon Chaplin and Rawlings are safe. Chaplin because the club got him doing media around the time the mid season changes were implemented. Not sure re Plapp. I'd expect Richardson to head up development and Rooke and Egan would probably go in favour of people Richardson has worked with. Also interesting that Mahoney hasn't done any media since late July, however that might be because he's busy reshaping the Footy Department and Perty has helped with some of the external communication. In all, despite the horror of 2018 I feel the club has a good handle on what is needed and seem to be working as a team and making the righ moves. Hopefully it catches on to the pkaying group ?.
  16. It makes me laugh that people on here are disappointed with the loss. If John was here he'd laugh too.
  17. Glad thats out of the way. The positives I took from the game: 1. No injuries. 2. Showed patches of good ball use, particularly in the third. 3. Fritch, Hunty and Melky playing forward together along with Jones at HF. 4. Petracca in the midfield and midfield balance better in general. 5. Maxy kicking for goal. Looking forward to the players coming back in terrific shape, trading in/out a couple of players, pick two and the footy department changes.
  18. Firstly we need to stop using numbers instead of letters to spell words and then can have an adult conversation.
  19. It's pretty normal to have these sort of meetings particularly when there is change. When working for someone else I'd often have these sort of meetings to understand how a change eas likely to impact my compensation plan and if I didn't like response it provided a way to work towards and acceptable position.

With the loss of a KPP in the VFL following Tim Smith's retirement, Jenkins would be a great get and fill this role perfectly. We need a strong VFL side to put pressure on thr Melbourne team.
  21. I was told at a different business meeting that the MFC we're in negotiations to buy the MCG for..... 1 million dollars.
  22. Just had a look at the AFL ladder and were 17th, only above lowly Fold Coast. I was getting ready to book tickets for September, what the [censored] is going on?

Sue, they may even go full toddler and introduce AFLX rounds for premiership points or half time cheerleaders.
