WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Martin is a poor mans Charlie Spargo. Not worth a first round pick and $700k+. Bennell is well worth a base of $300k per season + performance incentives on a two year deal, especially when he can can train with us until March to make sure his body can stand up to the rigors of AFL football.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
If Bennell passes the medical I'd be very happy that we take him in the PSD. He fits our need for a skillful outside mid and is much better proven in this role compared to Jack Martin, who by comparison will cost at least $400k more. In reality he'd probably cost us $200k per annum on a two year deal at the expense of one of JKH, Stretch or KK as a list spot. This is an opportunity that is worth the risk.

Viney's Northern Adventure with Young Dees
Fully agree re above, he'd also missed around 6-8 games earlier in the season with his foot and this was his second or third game back. He was also very good in our finals campaign last year. I feel is if Viney has been holding himself back a bit partly to manage his foot but also to build some continuity in his fitness base and conditioning over several seasons.

Viney's Northern Adventure with Young Dees
Disappointed to open this article full of words. What are they doing in the water with snorkel gear on? After what they put us supporters through this year what do they think this is, a holiday? They should be training.

2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch
I heard Burton drove the bus that was used to kidnap their players. Camporeale confiscated the players mobile phones and shone a flashlight into their faces while Don Pyke peered into their souls.

2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch
Maybe Richardson found Goodwin too stubborn and difficult to work with and resigned.

Sponsors 2020
Looks like sales are down marginally and they want to boost profitability. This doesn't tell us what the impact is to their Australian operations and whether it will impact on marketing budgets locally.

Sponsors 2020
I reckon we will have Jaguar for another year and beyond this will depend on our membership, on-field performance and to a lesser extent how many of our members buy a new Jag. When we consider AHG it was always about them building some brand awareness. Infiniti was the result of them exiting the Australian market. Jaguar and Melbourne Football Club are a good marriage, we just need to make sure 2019 is an aberration and that they see us as a side that will regularly feature in September while building into a powerhouse club.

Zak Jones
We did but when Zac met Goody, Zac thought this guy is stubborn. He also thought Melbourne's captains were a joke.

Are we plotting a late heist?
No such thing anymore OD, minimum is like $4.50 these days.

OMac on Overcoming Challenges
I reckon an important part of his lack of strength was a drop in confidence but does need to build his strength.

OMac on Overcoming Challenges
Words.... In seriousness, Oscar Mac comes across as a ripping bloke. Hope he has a massive season and slots in as a regular in our backline.

Are we plotting a late heist?
I reckon it would be awesome for us to trade pick 3 for a second round pick and proclaim it is a sign that we will take risks and resort to unconventional means to improve.

What's going on at Port
It's Jack Watts fault. Everything was fine before he joined them.

Did he mention anything about Goody being stubborn?

Time for the MFC to grow a pair and take a risk.
Couldn't agree more, I reckon we; 1. Only recruit d!ckheads with a history of recurring injury. 2. Initiate a covert off site 'supplements' program. 3. Find ways to pay players outside of the salary cap without the knowledge or approval from the AFL. 4. Adopt list management, game style and match day tactics based on advise of Demonland.

Josh Mahoney in the Media
I reckon we habdle the trade period exceptionally well. We are clear about what we want and then work with the other 17 clubs to achieve it. While not as exciting as the Geelong and Essendon posturing we get things done and are fair to deal with.
