i'd love to have him as our coach, but when Roos left the door open about coaching melbourne they asked Thompson too and they hadnt even finished their question and he was already saying no, so very little if any chance of him even considering it. I think he would want to finish up at the bombers

NT for us, is Tassie for the Hawks and Kangaroos and we seem to be trying to expand more in the NT. Also we are a part of the casey area, which some time down the track could have a few home games for us during the season. Tassie would be nice, but i think we missed the boat for that one.

i'm certain i'll be there. want to see the first womens game too so will be reasonably early. Would've been there for the saints game too, but had relatives down for the wkend edit:spelling

Watts was good today. Attacked the footy well and was more physical. Pity he didn't convert infront of goal. N jones, M jones, Pedersen, Garland, Blease, Terlich were all good as was Jamar. Trengove probably had his best game for the year and continues to improve. Kent and fitzy showed signs and improved as the game went on. Toumpas was in and out of the game.

i can't see us taking another big foward in this draft since we already have Clark, Dawes and Hogan ready to go next season. We have that part sorted, along with our backline which seems pretty strong. Desperately need mids, strong mids. Dunstan fits that well

Bailey. He may've had the team unfit and not up to AFL standard in that area, but atleast we were in Finals contention under him and we were flogging a few teams (freo and crows). His game plan may've been completely one sided and when it went bad it went really bad but atleast we were competetive for most of the time. The players played for him, they don't seem to do the same for Neeld.

one of my friends actually think melbourne will only lose by 20 points this week!

we should do what the hawks did with Crawford. They signed him up to continuous 1 yr deals in his last couple of years depending on his performances. If we don't sign Davey on for next year we should defintely consider him for some sort of mentor role at the club.
