If I was drafted at pick number 4, I would be expecting some game time A number 4 draft pick would go straight into most teams best 22 wouldn't it? That's what the system is designed to do.

I would put someone born in 1994 in the same age group as someone born in 1995. But from this year's draft Crouch, O'meara, Danniher, Viney...have already been picked out. So this years no.2 could have been no.4 if crouch and O meara were still in the mix. Could you say they traded Jack Martin for what normally would have been a no.4 draft pick??? Am I talking any sense here or have I had one to many cab sav's?

We have good run out of the backline, T Mac, Dan Nicholson, Wattsy, Frawley and Grimes especially. But they need blokes up the groung presenting to them or our mid fielders finding space and being clear options. Our defenders will benefit from the Bailey era....things will only get easier from now!

We need desire, pace and consistency(to begin with anyway...) I see a midfield this year constantly being let down by 1 player, eithor moloney had a shocker or Bate was thrown in there. And the work of 3 men was always being done by 2. I see a backline under huge amounts of stress, eithor from a fast clean inside 50 entry by the opposition, or when in possession of the ball in our defensive 50, a lack of options or targets or people presenting to the ball (which often I put down to a lack of fitness ) I see tackles not sticking to the opponent and being brushed aside, good teams make their tackles stick! Let's be honest, this year was a disaster. Major things to work on are our tackles, presenting to the ball, pace, possessions and clearences. We have had a good clear out of the people letting our side down and that's a good start.

Well just to conclude, the MFC have chosen Jamar, let's hope the best for him and hope he can return to his 2010 form. Arguably now our most important player? with Jones and Viney under his feet demanding the ball (this will help Jamar too), we need Russian back to his best.

How happy would GWS be atm, as much as I hate to say it. They certainly have some exciting prospects in the top 20 to choose from.
