  1. Nah Greene lacks composure and his disposal is average, but he is a ball magnet and has a good work ethic.
  2. We are desperate for ready to go mids and don't really want to wait for Aish or Kelly to play 50 games before they can have a big impact on games, I think we should aim higher with our pick 2, which I think is what you are saying. At worst we will be getting a quality mid with our pick 2. With our results since 2006 and trade history in mind I think Shiel will be a good way to use our pick 2. But why would GWS want to give him up just to pick up another mid.... What do we have that they would want?
  3. Any details for us ?
  4. Brad Sewell will be a great pick up, what we need with our pick 2 is a polished version of Sewell, but he will help us for stoppage clearences and his experienced head will help us set up at stoppages so the opposition don't always have spare players simply waiting for the ball to land in their hands (which is often the case) And anyone who compares him to people like Byrnes and Rodan is talking shat, his form throughout this years finals was sublime and he stood up when people like roughead and co choked. I would give up our pick 20 for him or Sylvia compo for him, compare him hampson who cost Richmond pick 28, he's gotta be rated higher than that. GO SEWELLY GO DEES
  5. Who will have the biggest impact in their first 2 years of AFL? I think we should take Taylor.
  6. Nahas! OMG
  7. Speak for yourself!
  8. A rookie spot for Thorp. Has a lot more natural talent compared to Fitzpatrick and Sellar. Why not give him a try for a year? Heck...He couldn't be as bad as Sellar, Rodan,Byrnes and Cook.
  9. Was drafted by Hawthorn in 2006 pick 6 as a forward but only played 2 games, has been coach/player for Tas statewide league team South Launceston and put together a great year alongside Bart McCullough (ex Brisbane Lions) to win the flag. Could be worth a look.
  10. 48 goals in the WAFL... I don't think half of our list could have done that....we need to take the risk....what do we have to loose. I think garlett is made for the G. Looks built well and not a soft [censored] like a few others we have carried for years. Last year was rated around 10 in the draft for talent. GET HIM . GO DEES.
  11. Advise for Toumpas...forget about 2013 ...it was a poor year. We all know he was playing at a much lower level than what is expected. 2014 is a new year, hopefully he gets super fit and confident.
  12. Cameron ling...my wife changes channel when he is on....because of his looks, I'm sure he is not the right man for the job.
  13. So we need clearences and inside 50's ....most importantly...agreed? Which one out of these kids in the draft is best at providing that? Does anybody know stats and figures ? Otherwise Hogan, Clark, Dawes and Watts will be useless for us.
  14. And no side-step...
  15. Easter Sunday... Surely a lot of people will be heading away for the w/e. As long as we win I couldn't care if there is 10000 at the ground
  16. Dear Clarky, we need you mate. I'm making the interstate trip for round 1and look forward to seeing you out there.
  17. Lack of clearences and forward 50 entries, hope Neeld gets it going...
  18. Kent might be our next Shannon Grant type, we can only hope so....
  19. This is great stuff, how are our new boys going...Viney Toumpas and Hulk Hogan.Just told the missus to put her panties back on because I have live training reports to read...
  20. From all reports, Dunn & Davey sound like they will be getting a game round 1 ....
