I thought Rivers would have been apart of our 4-5 year plan, big loss for us. Even Scarlett and Fletcher would have looked like average players in Melbourne's backline because of how frequently the opposition has entered their forward 50 over the past 10 years. Dan Nicholson..has the pace and drive out of our backline which is one of his best attributes and top class. We need mid-fielders with elite spread and fitness to provide options for him when he is under the pump in that situation.
