  1. Who shall we choose to shoot the arrow Max hangs left Bayley... well he was the man Kozzie... not sure if you can check side an arrow Woe Penelope
  2. We must be somewhere near that by now or does it just seem that long?
  3. Not to mention the Hydra
  4. The voyage of Ulysees had less twists and turns. Hopefully Penelope recognises us when we finally reach home. But do we have a Telemachus among us?
  5. No It was born of hope and I salute Adam for having that hope. Let's keep it open to measure those green shoots for next year.
  6. I think we can officially close the lid for 2025
  7. 3:7 since half time
  8. Hard team to get excited by. This goal kicking is becoming a joke
  9. Yeah but.... Just so hard to get excited this year
  10. That goal to behind ratio is rarely 1:1 for us. Unless we get it to 2:1 we are going nowhere
  11. You have to wonder why we bother
  12. Just saw that. Chandler only two as well. Given 16 inside 50's for the quarter you'd hope for more
  13. Fritsch with 5 possessions . Not bad at all
  14. You've go to love a good "behind" as a Demon supporter
  15. They really need to work on their ground/studio audio mix. The GWS v Brisbane game was just weird
  16. Would be ironic if he played for the Suns against Casey !
  17. we do have a bye but the next game is against the Suns on the Gold Coast. I assume from your post he won't be available.
  18. It's a "Burra Burger" not a "Barra Burger" Their attraction is their size and composition. Think Burger with the lot. Need to be hot which can be a challenge as they are cooked in advance
  19. Not to put a dampener on the Casey performance but Essendon have been hard hit by injuries and that was most likely an understrength VFL side. The Dons presently sit 17th with three wins for the season. Our next scheduled match is against another cellar dweller (the Suns) on the Gold Coast. Suns presently 18th. You can only beat the team you're playing against but we're not destroying anyone
  20. We sold multiple home games to Brisbane and the rest of the comp complained. Seems that sales are the norm but it should only be for a "neutral" ground. The WA govt buying Freo a home game was not a great look. Then again the SA govt bought one for Adelaide and Port
  21. Was tracking well last year but seemed to have plateaued in the first half of this season. Hard to get a good run with so many NQR talls at Casey. Second half of 2025 could be big for hi
  22. Great result Only saw the last 15 minutes but young K White could have a future Connection wise I'd give the team 6.5/10 for what I saw. AFL wise .... not much but it's not all bad by any means
  23. Was thinking that might be a nice outing for a Burra Burger and some dim sims but then saw the time. As a daytime venue Port is very pleasant with a big grassed verge behind the main road goal. (Warning if you go to a Port game their supporters are lovely but they love their team) Windy Hill is also an interesting ground to attend. More of an open park these days with a couple of the 60's style grandstands. Had to ask where the scoreboard was. Turned out to be on a far fence at ground level. Very upmarket surroundings at Windy Hill these days. The other strange thing is that because much of the ground is unfenced it was free entry
  24. If only Jeffo could ruck Even the Weid could ruck
  25. We simply have to persevere with JVR for the next 3-4 weeks. If it doesn't work we can give Jefferson a game but then we need to also play a second ruck/forward such as AJ
