  1. Reportedly a teacher from Al Taqwa College Werribee
  2. given the location compromise was always going to be the outcome. What worries me is that we have locked ourselves into 20th century training facilities when many other clubs have now moved beyond anything we can deliver in the MCG precinct
  3. Once the finding was that there was sustained deliberate pressure to the neck 2 weeks was the minimum. Lucky it wasn't more
  4. AFL counsel Jeff Gleeson says his proposed two-week ban was premised on Viney's guilty plea. He says the jury is at large but their penalty should not be less than two weeks. David Jones say the jury can attach what weight they wish to the initial guilty plea.
  5. The jury has decided Viney is guilty as charged by the AFL. They find Viney made forceful, prolonged contact with his elbow to the neck/throat region of Collins
  6. Legal 101 With a guilty plea you discuss with the prosecution whatwill be alleged. Hell they even give you the summary Goes way more than the technical charge
  7. Davey Jones for the prosecution I'm a Believer
  8. 2-3 weeks I'm afraid ...... no questions your honour How many did Rance get for his altercation with Watts... 2 weeks
  9. Tactics question can Bowey play heavy defence. At VFL level he plays a similar role to Salem. Rivers also plays the running defender job. Interesting mix which places resposibility on Petty, Lever and May If we were playing an in form Richmond who plays on Dusty?
  10. well you did ask... very popular at Glastonbury I understand where they are accompanied by hay bales
  11. one of my absolute favourites OD... but try Madrid (similar but nowhere near the tourist numbers) Nil desperandum.. the world will open again... probably before our training facilities do !!!
  12. well in the old days (the sixties) they emptied into the gutters of Paris and each day the gutters were flushed with water from the Seine which they still do today sans pee. The French are so cool sometimes.
  13. one of those amazing automatic ones where the door opens if you are in there for longer than ten minutes perhaps. Give me a Paris pissoir any day.
  14. agree.... add to that soccer grounds with running tracks around them which are common overseas AAMI Park is a fantastic viewing venue The thing that gets me when they play at places like the MCG is that they also insist upon having the subs, coaches, seats etc on the pitch sidelines which makes it even worse for ground level viewing venues such as the MCG
  15. Astrazenneca being thrown out in PNG 83,000 jabs in the whole of the country.
  16. so what are the actual quarantine requirements for the team in WA. Are they stil training etc?
  17. a 36 minute quarter with Lions roaring.... thank heavens for Tasmanian birds
  18. a couple if not four more before half time would be pleasant goals...not behinds !!
  19. only because our inept kicking at goal has made it so unfortunately. This and the next two weeks should be regulation wins. Of course they won't be.
  20. defer the Casey game until tomorrow and give the "extras" a run
  21. Play it tomorrow/Monday in Perth at one of the WAFL grounds
  22. 3 days only Come on guys that's only the proverbial "circuit breaker" and of course they have the "best" CHO in the world
  23. easy... Mitchell is on assistant wages next year and then the $$$ kick in
