  1. As OD has said 6 is the minimum Now anything around 10 is considered the sweet spot. If you feel exposed get it anytime after 6 but better at 8,9 or 10 12 was picked in the UK for supply reasons and it became the early default standard. Good luck
  2. they could easily fly one or two games into Adelaide which would make it work well crowd wise If you were playing all in WA at least two of the first weeks games would be played at a WAFL stadium because you just wouldn't get any reasonable attendance for all four games. Other than the GF the crowds in Qld last year were rather abysmal
  3. not convinced that Bowey is the right replacement though. Could be interesting. Seems Lockhart has missed his chance
  4. no Hibberd is a little surprising... will be interesting to see how the defence structures up against a more agressive forward line than that which GCS served up last week.
  5. half back flank was where you hid your worst player except in schoolboy football it was the wing. (You could stand on a wing all day and never see the ball.) The position that has clearly disappeared is that of the "follower" or ruck rover. TBH I coudn't tell you who plays centre for MFC these days
  6. agree... the number of reserved seat holders is probably a better measure of comparative revenues.
  7. the fun bet is when will lockdown 7 start... On a more serious note while lockdowns have their place in and out of lockdowns with trailing restrictions become harder each time to enforce
  8. yep ... being vaccinated is three times better in preventing infection than not being vaccinated (100k in the study which is a very large study) https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/english-study-finds-50-60-reduced-risk-covid-double-vaccinated-2021-08-03/
  9. Look out for the latest UK study It's a massive study (100k participants) Preliminary finding.............. the vaccine (mainly AZ) is three times better in preventing infection SO... Play the odds ......... please
  10. did he have learnings?
  11. Got my second AZ yesterday and feeling fine. If only there was somewhere I could go.
  12. Reportedly a teacher from Al Taqwa College Werribee
  13. given the location compromise was always going to be the outcome. What worries me is that we have locked ourselves into 20th century training facilities when many other clubs have now moved beyond anything we can deliver in the MCG precinct
  14. Once the finding was that there was sustained deliberate pressure to the neck 2 weeks was the minimum. Lucky it wasn't more
  15. AFL counsel Jeff Gleeson says his proposed two-week ban was premised on Viney's guilty plea. He says the jury is at large but their penalty should not be less than two weeks. David Jones say the jury can attach what weight they wish to the initial guilty plea.
  16. The jury has decided Viney is guilty as charged by the AFL. They find Viney made forceful, prolonged contact with his elbow to the neck/throat region of Collins
  17. Legal 101 With a guilty plea you discuss with the prosecution whatwill be alleged. Hell they even give you the summary Goes way more than the technical charge
  18. Davey Jones for the prosecution I'm a Believer
  19. 2-3 weeks I'm afraid ...... no questions your honour How many did Rance get for his altercation with Watts... 2 weeks
  20. Tactics question can Bowey play heavy defence. At VFL level he plays a similar role to Salem. Rivers also plays the running defender job. Interesting mix which places resposibility on Petty, Lever and May If we were playing an in form Richmond who plays on Dusty?
  21. well you did ask... very popular at Glastonbury I understand where they are accompanied by hay bales
  22. one of my absolute favourites OD... but try Madrid (similar but nowhere near the tourist numbers) Nil desperandum.. the world will open again... probably before our training facilities do !!!
  23. well in the old days (the sixties) they emptied into the gutters of Paris and each day the gutters were flushed with water from the Seine which they still do today sans pee. The French are so cool sometimes.
