  1. As you say, they're not leaving. The site is worth nothing if they walk away. Why would the council be concerned if they left. It's all limited use parkland and would be a lovely addition to the precinct. Always thought the request to knock down the historic stand was a no goer
  2. The forward line is NQR at present. Pity Melksham didn't display more on Saturday but I am beginning to despair of Weideman having a real impact. Two more weeks perhaps. The Casey game next week is against Southport at Casey starting 35 minutes before the AFL match. Not ideal for the emergencies getting some match time not to mention the medi sub
  3. Lions pulling away and that's without Daniher and Hipwood Very impressive
  4. Ony saw the last ten minutes but very impressed by Majak's ruck work
  5. Pies into the 8
  6. yep the media is starting to question the decisions. Just like we did with the Darwin game. Alice is the optimum destination if you have to sell a game. Dry and around 22 at game time. Not sure what it would be like playing at night there as we haven't done so as yet
  7. The 7 day covid out runs from the time of the positive RAT. I assume they followed up the RAT with a PCR within 24 hours. Of the missing 5 my guess is that original 3 get out Wednesday, Petty on Thursday and ANB Friday ( Goodwin on Tuesday?) On a more positive note you would hope that if the rest of the players are clear on Monday we shouldn't see another major outbreak (at least not next week)
  8. Saints sold 4 points. Oh well...many of us know what that feels like
  9. bank it and move on Very few highlights save that Bedford is ready. Not sure what if anything it did to solve the Weid v T Mac debate Need to play a lot better next week
  10. would be nice to see a dominant 4th quarter right on cue.. Hawks kick a goal
  11. Six goal quarter... much better forward work Hawks on 59 points... Our aim is to keep the other team around 60 points. Let's see if we can do it
  12. pedestrian performance Hopefully we pick it up in the third quarter
  13. was about to post that we need a little something from BBB and !!!!!!
  14. and another 3 please to finish off the quarter please ... those pesky behinds
  15. Dockers giving Cats the Old Heave Ho
  16. Giants pulling away from Crows. With Port near the bottom it could be a cold winter in the city of churches
  17. Can't recall the Eagles ever being in the bottom 2 or 3 teams. Sure they've been mid table but always competitive. They are one of if not the wealthiest team in the AFL. Watch out for some vigorous wheeling and dealing as they rebuild. Meanwhile if Adelaide beat GWS today they will probably slip into the top 8. Amazing given where they were last year.
  18. joke..... thanks whoever put this on prime time. Haven't seen much of WCE this year. They are bad to say the least
  19. Brings T Mac back into contention but I'm starting to warm a little for Melksham
  20. Assuming the MCG is awash on Saturday.... Dunstan for Sparrow Bedford (or possibly Chandler) for Pickett Mitch Brown for Jackson Weid to play 25% in the ruck Medi Sub = Smith PS: Plus of course Viney and Lever in
  21. Seems like we could be lucky to keep it down to three and the coach
  22. Strong chance of being very wet on Saturday. Perhaps a mobile medium or a Chandler gets a chance and Weid is the relieving ruck Mitch Brown anyone??
  23. Life delivers lots of curve balls these days. study out of the US today* ....based on antibody tests 50% of adults and 75% of children have had covid. At least the changes thread will come to life * reported in the Guardian
  24. Hibberd ... available great to hear. Casey will be very strong this week against the Box Hill Hawks with T Mac, Tomlinson,Bedford, Dunstan and Hibberd 2:05pm Sunday.... I believe at Box Hill... a lovely place to watch a game and easy parking within a five minute walk
