  1. A few matches next week between teams in the present top 8. A great opportunity to put a gap between us and several teams. Hawks seem to run hot and cold.
  2. Had to look him up. 12 goals from 9 games over two years. His lucky day... good on him
  3. Interesting comparing Richo's comments on Ch 7 to Nathan Buckley's on Fox. Richo kept saying that Tigers needed to go fast whereas Buckley said they needed to go slow and send the ball into a four man contest where the ground ball players of Richmond could operate. Going fast just allowed the Melbourne defence to zone off and rebound Both styles though allow a flooding of our forward line to a reasonable extent which means we need to take our marks (as we did last night) and convert
  4. Mihocek is a valuable player for the Pies. Always seems to be in the right spot and is a reliable kick. 29 years of age so you would think he only has another 2-3 years at best. Collingwood's forward stocks aren't that great
  5. No... he is an intercept marker and provides little in the way of fast rebound. He's just a flashier less efficient version of Lever. Mind you Lever's rebound kicking is not fantastic but he always seems to get his loopy kicks to a team mate
  6. yes but it has the golden commentary of Dennis Cometti
  7. maybe... weather looking wet so maybe not
  8. Has anyone found a video of the two Geelong games (Round 23 and PF) with a KROC commentary. That would round out my collection so well. The Perth MMM commentary is sublime
  9. TMacs time at Casey will do him no harm. He dominated yesterday. The level of competition is an issue but that can't be fixed. Box Hill next week should be a good test for him though looking at the ladder they're not flying. Allowing for the competition level I think TMac's game at Casey just shaded Weid's game but let's see what the next 2 weeks bring
  10. In the warmth of the morning it was a good win last night. Even though we stuffed up the goal kicking we aced the forward 50 entries over 3 at least of the 4 quarters. Strong signs
  11. Hoping for an Essendon win today. Deflates the Collingwood bubble and gives one the joy of seeing Essendon followers get false hope. Mixed over Hawks v Sydney but marginally desiring a Hawthorn win. Draw would be nice
  12. Injuries and covid aside it's an easy decision this week. Rain predicted for Friday and Saturday
  13. Painful but we'll be better for the win. I'll accept tonight as an aberration.
  14. Not a great display for prime time but I suppose all the opposition supporters are saying... How good are they if they kick straight
  15. you would hope the law of averages would kick in eventually and we would kick a few
  16. Oh great if Petty is off who in bejesus goes back
  17. and now we're behind Remind me who the goal kicking coach is ???
  18. Remember my new mantra.... Kick Straight and Prosper Come on Dees
  19. Decided before the VFL game so it's just precautionary. If there was a real chance of an out he would not have played at all
  20. Surprised he didn't get an offer from another club during the trade period but I don't see him dislodging Jordon in the pecking order.
  21. McDonald beats three on one and passes for a good goal to JVR Excellent play
  22. Looking good
  23. Looking at the crowd postioning they seem to have closed off a lot of the ground. No one in the Grandstand ?
  24. Tommy Mac staking his claim ?? 3 goals so far
