More like two old boxers slugging it out for that one last chance of glory The young ones are taking over... whether it will be us or Brisbane it won't be these two
-
Tigers v Eagles Listening to the commentators you would be forgiven for thinking it's first playing second
-
Not sure who won because they both lost
-
Bit like GWS but at least he didn't go to the reserves.
-
Let's put it this way. If you were given a free ticket would you go. I wonder where GWS goes from here? North are past tense.

Storm about to go equal top of the NRL ladder. Most likely number 1 position on points difference

Unfortunately the GP cannot happen. F1 insists on at most a FIFO bubble and won't accept any form of pre event HQ. Can't see Vic Govt allowing it. As usual with these things it seems that who blinks first is determined by the cancellation fee arrangements. Lucky we don't have the Olympics.Japan is in an absolute no win position.

Another bird battle tonight Swans V Hawks Hard to get excited but I will probably watch the second half if Hawks are ten plus points up PS Just saw that Geoff Edelsten died... quite a character .. is an understatement https://www.theage.com.au/national/geoffrey-edelsten-found-dead-in-melbourne-apartment-20210611-p580d4.html

noticed that Although you can't drive to NSW you can fly (assuming you live within 25k of the airport) Same day return flights about $270 all up via Webjet -
you're right for some reason I thought it was Docklands but now I think about it ...it was probably a Dogs supporter thinking they might get it moved A draw would be nice
-
It will as usual be a cynical bidding war between the various States. Not sure Sydney has the stadium size to make it worth their while (IIRC they're upgrading Homebush). On a closer note I wonder of Geelong will make a money bid to "steal"the Bulldogs home game and take it down to Kardiinia Park. Docklands at 50% is barely break even.

when we all look back at these border restrictions and wonder how we got to such a situation I wonder what will stand out as the silliest. Seems to me that that the SA response to visiting footballers is way up there as a single instance. Mind you the masks while driving which I think was WA was also close. I'm fast giving up on any form of reason or nuance being used in this area.

watch the Geelong tactics against the Port kick out. Have not noticed this one before Geelong using two players on the mark to prevent the Port kicker from playing on. Excellent tactic against teams that like to kick deep such as ourselves
-
Interesting... On that scenario Geelong would play its first final at Kardinia Park... Geelong v WC Could also result in no matches at all in Vic in the second round of the finals Bulldogs to lose only one match going forward (presumably against us) is an interesting prediction. You may also have underestimated Brisbane by a game or two. Fascinating though and thanks

Depends how optimistic you are re the rest of the MFC season If you're into insurance mode you want the interstate teams to lose thus minimising the chance of a first final interstate. A counter thought to this theory is which team is more likely to overtake us. Very difficult as all three of Geelong, Brisbane and Port are on 32 points at present. Port..simply because the Geelong inclusions may not be match fit and Eagles for the fun of it.

Just announced... masks outside for another week in Metro Melbourne the fun continues Going to be a long winter

Anna P aka the Saviour of the AFL....amazing Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk received the Pfizer vaccine in Brisbane on Monday, after criticism she had been left behind by other state leaders who already had their jabs. Despite being in the recommended age group for the AstraZeneca vaccine - people aged 50 or older - Ms Palaszczuk received the Pfizer jab due to her coming overseas travel plans. https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/national/queensland/queensland-premier-gets-pfizer-covid-vaccine-in-brisbane-20210607-p57yng.html

The famous AFL seating algorithm also known as saving money

Out of interest were they mixing in a bit of "canned crowd noise" on Friday night. The background murmuring etc just sounded fake at times. The scoring reactions sounded accurate.

6 is the highest. Have a go. It's fun. I do it after watching the replay and don't look at how others have voted until I've posted. I find most agree on the top 2 (if in a different order) but from there on in it can be interesting.

yep... we are now being run by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs aka the Premiers and Chief Minister of the NT (yes I know I didn't count the ACT but who does)

I sit here planning alternative routes between Pakistan and Egypt. All of them seem to go via the various city States of the Middle East. This trip will be the most researched I've ever done if I ever do it. Like you vaccinated four weeks ago. My free travel tip is Moscow...inexpensive and drop dead tourist stuff with great easy to use public transport. People are great (Dubai- Moscow for a week- Western Europe.. London/Paris etc)

Does it get better OD ... Today's case includes a teacher from the school where a child from the Jervis Bay travellers went to. Linked but a potentially wide vector from a spread viewpoint.
