  1. MCC simply need to guarantee the $$$ and it would be moved overnight $$$ is the only thing that will move the Cats and the AFL though having regard to Geelong's coach I expect he's made his thoughts clear
  2. tend to agree While both teams are beatable on a given day they have the consistency which combined with the double chance that should see them through. Collingwood's performance for 6 plus weeks without a recognized ruckman was amazing
  3. Winning in the next few weeks means with losses by the teams around us means we can start planning for finals by resting and rotating players. Hell we might even play around with the forward line not to mention the dynamic ruck duo. Lose and each week becomes a struggle for survival. Lions winnning means all 3 teams above us can coast
  4. You have to score to win. At present scoring is our weakest area and it doesn't seem to be improving. Not a fan of Petty forward but I'm willing to try Tomlinson back and Petty in the CHF role. Desperate times etc
  5. you're probably right but we're starting to get desperate as usual. It is widely reported that Schache was upset at being dropped from the Bulldogs when Ugle Hagen was given an extended run of games. At least he doesn't have a similar complaint at the Dees. BTW I did see him make at least one tackle stick today
  6. Go Blues Is there anything worse than having a hundred plus thousand Bomber supporters eyeing off our fourth position. We'd better win next week for my sanity
  7. Another Casey conundrum A good win but few stand outs. Liked Verral... he was well beaten but maybe there's something there Laurie and Chandler were disappointing JVR.. just okay Schache... maybe but is he just too good for VFl but..... Tomlinson ?? Campbell for Sandy was the stand out player
  8. Best Casey chain of the day Good mark to Jefferson from a Harmes kick who misses
  9. Another goal to Casey but not quite clicking
  10. Harmes kick into the 50 lacked quality to say the least or was it our forwards not leading to space
  11. Not thrilled with Smith as the sub. In the days of the injury sub he would have been better. Harmes or Melksham are probably better subs if you are looking for fresh legs
  12. Schache definitely putting up his hand for the Fritsch position
  13. 2 good marks to Jefferson Not many previous touches
  14. Casey being outplayed by 10-15% Sandy goal from a free 15 points diiference
  15. Wasn't sure if Moniz W was on the ground but he is Opportunistic to a very quiet JVR
  16. Probably the worst 10 minutes I've seen from Casey. Luckily Sandy not fully capitalising Casey forward 50 entries almost comical
  17. JVR quiet. I haven't noticed Jefferson
  18. Between them that's almost $2M* a year running around. Hope they work it out quickly *including the Collingwood offset
  19. The Sandy ruck.. Campbell.. is not shabby
  20. Good post... I like entertainment and improvement. Flags are very hard to come by so you have to embrace the lesser elements
  21. Casey have Jefferson and JVR yet we still deliver to the pocket
  22. Sandrinham playing well. Is Tomlinson playing? PS.. just saw Tomlinson
  23. Just wondering What criteria would one use to determine if the two expensive ruck combo delivers value
  24. Grundy... trade next year Not a $700k player let alone $1M
  25. Stoker has been off injured for the last 15 minutes so they only have one on the bench
