  1. Do you play with only 17 on the field or one less on the bench. Most sports have the former
  2. A Richmond win over the Giants does us no harm PS: May have gone early
  3. Watched the replay of the Scottish FA Cup this morning between Celtic and Inverness. For the first half they had sound mix problems. Nice loud crowd noise but barely audible commentary. It was brilliant. Unfortunately they fixed it for the second half. Marvellous way to watch sport on TV
  4. Not a great percentage booster for Port. Same amount as if they'd won 60-40
  5. Jordon's game was excellent
  6. well done Casey
  7. Schache with his 4th
  8. Thanks.. what is the food like? The gum trees look delightful along the perimeter
  9. Love those cars on the boundary. No tailgate bbq's that I can see
  10. Should be known as the Casey "Bombers" the way they play
  11. Terrible forward entries by Casey after the good opening
  12. Marvellous connection Woey to Jefferson for a strong mark and then a good mark and goal to Schache
  13. Is the man mountain ruck they had last year playing for Southport this year? Could be a decent game especially for the Fringe 6
  14. Has it ever snowed at the MCG? Seriously the only way we win is accuracy on our part and inaccuracy on theirs
  15. Is this the end of the Smith/Petty experiment
  16. what a mediocre game
  17. J Smith has shown glimpses at Casey but not much more. It was either him or Shache I suppose and on recent Casey form it's Smith. Let's hope we can get through tomorrow night with a win. The last few weeks have been tough going
  18. Ted Lasso resonates on so many levels for our journey. Collingwood is our Manchester City Roy.... (the rest would be censored)
  19. 1 out of 10 I suspect that for five of those years at least we were the higher ranked team. Oh well .. let's see what this year brings
  20. was wondering ..out of say the last ten Crown holiday matches how many have we won
  21. with TMac we flattened out his salary so I suspect it's around $300k per year. Have little feeling for BBB. The AFL used to allow special pay out deals with long term injured players but I can't see that helping us if they are just suffering from nagging injuries. With the limits on the soft cap there's not much room for coaching contracts etc. The big hole is of course due to Weideman who we all expected to come into his prime around 2021/22. When that failed we are now looking at Jefferson who is still very experimental and more likely a 2025 player if he makes it. Collingwood have shown that you don't need gun big forwards if your game plan is well structured. We may need to do the same
  22. why not... the Darwin game is an away game and will be rotated through the smaller Melbourne clubs of which we are one
  23. Bulldogs got the trip to Hell having to play in Darwin. Wonder who will get it next year (why am I suspicious) Bulldogs play Geelong next week at Docklands. Looking at both teams last night in that final quarter it doesn't look good. Suns have Adelaide
  24. he would have made a wonderful transitional forward for us as I tried to explain last year. Laughed at by many but tell me who is better Hogan or TMac
