Used to think the same myself until I realised a few years back... they don't really want bigger crowds.... as increased crowds mean extra facilities (toilets etc), more ground security etc. Some grounds like Punt Rd are aggressively anti-crowds with narrow viewing space and blocked off areas. Port and Box Hill are a nice balance with grassed hills and old style grandstands Agree though it is an enjoyable day with a little winter sunshine

Watched the Scottish FA cup between Celtic and whoever a month or so ago. They had problems with the sound for the first half on kayo so I only got crowd noise.
