Numbers
I suppose the teams that win it have been in form sometime through the season... Not well written there 'Jimmy'. Without going back through the seasons if your call is no team in history before September meaning August...for one we haven't got to the last month yet. ...and premiership teams have lost games (out of form) in August... It's an over exaggeration by you and simply not true.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
So you think we might be due a bust 'Macca'???? Best we put our chips on tried and proven if we get some draft capital this year...

Farewell Luke Jackson
Thanks Peter...

Daisy's commentary
Couldn't have said it better...particularly the shelf life and Ling.

Farewell Luke Jackson
...and if he goes he can be part of our 3rd. On the losing side.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Except for when he plays us, then I hope he has career worst performances...and is a total liability.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Agree, some of the descriptions placed on him have been a bit off the mark.

Daisy's commentary
Yes, she is another that has been a breath of fresh air...

Daisy's commentary
For example there's no doubt that Sarah Jones is a big step up from Eddie McGuire when hosting the footy.

Daisy's commentary
I think this is true...Unfortunately I also think a lot of people don't like the thought of being taught about the game by a woman.

Daisy's commentary
...and Dermott is right up there with him. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who just can't see past their prejudices (read some of the facebook comments) and actually believe Daisy has no idea. Good on Simon for setting the record straight...she is enormous and an absolute trail blazer. The game is the better for Daisy.

Head high tackles
Bevo rambles on like he's on the p.... I don't know how his players understand what he's on about. ...and Danger has skin (Selwood) in the game.

Head high tackles
I can't look at this 'John', it scares the hell out of me. Whenever I see a player going head first into a tackle I just can't help but yell at the TV...I know Sachse was an accident but some players are trusting their luck by deliberately going into the oncoming tackler. These players need to get weeks for not only putting themselves at risk but also the poor player (tackler) who would also have to live with it for the rest of their lives.

Head high tackles
...and some of them would let you know about it with a few choice words.

Head high tackles
I can't think of anyone 'La Dee', I don't remember it being done at all in my playing days.
-
Head high tackles
'Macca', I would start with players who put their head down and deliberately use it as some kind of battering ram. The outcome if the goes wrong is life for them and the poor player who was at the end of it. 3 or 4 weeks seems reasonable to me. The dropping, ducking one I would put on notice (as it now is) but if it still persists then as you say 3 weeks for that...

Head high tackles
Someone posted 'Dropping the knees, to get the ball should not be punishable.' I was saying it never has been and it still isn't. If a player bends down to get the ball it's not punishable...but if a player then drops or if a player leads with their head it should be. I hope that makes some sense.

The Concussion Crisis in Australian Rules Football
He (Selwood) does drop 'Dee', not always but it is a technique he uses along with leading with his head at times. edit: he has perfected the sack of spuds technique where he becomes a dead weight.

Head high tackles
That's the problem 'jnr', you are spot on here. This was supposed to be the interpretation at the start of the season and was already forgotten by the first game. Let's see how long it lasts. I bet Selwood will still get them.

Head high tackles
It isn't, hasn't ever been and still isn't...doesn't mean when you have the ball & drop your knees it should be a free kick. It no longer is and should never have been.

The Concussion Crisis in Australian Rules Football
...and I really hate that they are using Ginnivan as the poster boy for this. A junior player in the competition when we all know it was Selwood who started and perfected it. He should be front and square on any publicity to do with this action. Then the Kozzie one is thrown into the mix like it's some new thing, again a player just kicking off his career.. Surely they would have 100's of Selwood examples to use.

The Concussion Crisis in Australian Rules Football
"The AFL said the rules had been in place all year and the interpretation had not changed." This is funny, of course it changed...the umpires haven't followed the correct (if that's the interpretation the AFL have just put out) interpretation for most of the season and from this week on we hope they do.

Team first - for certain a goal
Fox would know...they have to come up with something to troll on every week. I think the one he should have given Trac was really poor, was that the Cats game? apart from that I haven't noticed anything else I would put in that category. They were, take the shot or don't..in other words 50/50's. As someone else pointed out, he's paid to take the shot when it's there.

The Run Home
Their current list is very vanilla...I think they need to get back to the drawing board, this list is not taking them to a flag any time soon.
