Good to know someone has kept the records. -

You have to remember how this investigation came into being in the first place, the ACC. Now whether they have evidence on Dank who knows but you would have to think they have some pretty strong evidence on someone or many someones. -

...and I'm saying it won't happen partly because WADA will be taking an interest in proceedings. -

Sorry mate I can't see it going this way at all and don't see how you draw that conclusion. This is not a local issue it is a worldwide issue and if the local authorities don't deal with it then the international ones will. There is already pressure from other sports and if you notice one of the tribunals the paper trail goes through has a representative from cycling and they are not going to let any other sport get off lightly after the kicking they've had (admittedly their own fault). -
Struggled with this one myself but it starts at 7.10pm Melbourne time as the other week day games have.

Looking forward to the game. I would like to see us keep our composure as we did in the first game and see improvement in tackling and pressure acts. Looking forward to seeing how Watts adapts in the midfield and having another look at Michie, Tyson and Trengove. See improvement in big Fitz hopefully. ...and of course Hogan.

That makes no sense at all. If they want to him speak it would be now and the legislation is in place now. -

Who says Trenners used the cream anyway, he was apparently advised it might be good for him. That's a long way from him having or using the stuff. -

I think WADA would move in if they thought there had been a whitewash. -

Jackson as usual cuts to the chase. Each club plays it's part be it taking a hit at Etihad or a draw that is less than fair. He also takes out the idea of sharing all revenue which Eddie has been using as a scare tactic to get his DH supporters ringing up on talkback thinking their membership money will go to other clubs. Share game revenues evenly and we are on the way to a better competition. It appears there will be a cap on FD spending as well, some of the other stuff is floated by the AFL treating us all as idiots as usual and they will back down and appear conciliatory whilst getting what they wanted in the first place ...yawn. In the end it will be good for us but we will need to work hard from then on to make certain we are not reliant in the future, things can change again and we do need to be self sufficient.

Agree with you on playing Viney, he needs to play AFL football as does Hogan. These guys are natural competitors. I don't think it will matter where you play Jack, he will always put his body on the line. Just let him loose.

Sounds like our games against Hawthorn over the same period. Has nothing to do with them both being the best & most professional teams in that period and us being far and away the worst and least professional. Even if you hear the words this year I think the experience will be backed up by some solid learning this time. We actually have people on board capable of teaching and explaining the lesson.
-
As I keep saying he has no awareness so it's now surprise.
-
Dom will be a better player than both of these guys so I'm not so concerned. ...as for the 8, I reckon the bottom 3 will be GWS, Brisbane and StKilda. All other clubs are capable of making the 8 depending on their draw and run with injuries.

I agree with you in part, he has shown some ability to get the ball around the ground. The trouble is getting him on the park and him having the tank to run out a game when he is.
-
They were at a good level already under Laidley just had a bad year in 2009 so I'm not so impressed. 2008 12 wins 2007 15 wins.

The predictive text is having a good morning 'D26', but you're right we won't be going in with 2 specialist rucks in season.
-
We need to find a ruckman who doesn't put us one man down in the midfield. Unfortunately our current crop do, Clark being the exception but more likely to play forward with some time on ball as Roos has flagged when he gets back.

Having been a victim it won't enrage me, but I will be upset if the AFL don't take any further action. Even just to make a point to the playing group and society in general, they seem to like doing this on other issues and this one is a bit closer to me so I have an interest.

I think they will struggle. Vardy is a big loss as he was slated to be their 2nd tall forward to back up Hawkins who may or may not come up with his bad back. I thought the would struggle anyway, you don't just replace champions (ask the Australian cricket team). Depth is an illusion given credence by still having some champions to cover, they're getting older and making mistakes (think Bartel at crucial times last year, he won't get better) or carrying injury. Some of the kids are good but 2 of the best are also going to miss the first half of the season at least.
