Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
Not sure on Dunkley yet...he's not his brother. My bet would be good depth (better than what we have) but will wait and see. Pretty sure Sparrow won't make it as a mid. Gus not having a great year but still streets ahead of those 2 so it would want to be something very special to move him on.

Brad Hill
Well, I guess it makes sense. We are in need of a small forward.

Injury List - Season 2019
'Webber' is a physio mate, I trust his view on these issues. He gives good insights as he has in this case. I know we're all p....off with this season and the club but you're off the mark here.

CHANGES: Rd 21 v Collingwood
Interesting, I remember seeing somewhere they said he shouldn't miss too much preseason. Thought that strange if it was only a broken jaw...

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Personally I think he's a bit overrated. Not a big possession winner, pretty much a vanilla footballer. We weren't interested last time he was on the market, wonder what has changed. St Kilda have been keen for a while. Give me Langdon.

Brendan McCartney Leaving at Seasons End
I wouldn't be surprised to see Rawlings move on for his own development. You can only stay at a club so long, and it then appears you are treading water in the AFL industry and you become a forgotten man. That is if he still wants a senior job down the track.

Brendan McCartney Leaving at Seasons End
He's been on mine since it looked like they had the knives out for him with the Saints. Would be a great get with Burgess...bot responsible with Hinkley in rebooting Port.

CHANGES: Rd 21 v Collingwood
I agree that Smith isn't the answer, we just get totally cleaned up when Max goes for a rest and Pruess does his share in this area. Unfortunately he's lost any confidence with his hands and can't hold a mark. I like where 'Nev' is heading here, I would give Petty a run. The kid is a smart footballer and he has just that little bit of mongrel about him. Would also be pretty useful around the ground with his marking. Might as well have some options for next year.

POSTMATCH: Rd 20 vs Richmond
I think the only way to do a deliberate forensic analysis of all issues is with an external review. Everything on the table. The only reason for not doing it is if you have something to hide or if your ego is so big you think you have all the answers. We've been here before. I fear Sir Humphrey Appleby is running the club at the moment but hope I'm wrong.

Goody Presser (2/8)
For those who don't think part of the problem is the game plan... Cotchin being interviewed at half time said if they could start getting a bit more contested ball they know they can easily run off Melbourne on the outside. Seriously Goody, I know (hope) you don't really believe what you said above. But this year every team in the competition knows how to play & beat Melbourne. This would want to be a hell of a tinker you're working on...

Richmond VFL v Casey Demons - Round 18
Anyone know what happened to Jordon in the 2nd half? Was up in the disposal count at half time then seemed to drop right off. Injured?

Round 20 Non MFC Games
Interesting to notice over the last few weeks and particularly tonight. The umps have obviously been instructed to call play on for kicks going backwards if they don't go a good 15+ metres...probably more like 20... Marks are being paid for around half the distance when they go forward. Another interpretation...

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Looking at the likely clubs to have pick 3... Carlton really don't need a KPF, although Adelaide have their pick. They might be an option. Sydney if Buddy stands up with Reid probably unlikely to trade pick 3 ...and I can't see North trading for their own player. Not sure why we're discussing other clubs trades, this thread is probably better on Bigfooty...

2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch
...been pushing this one for a while now and he's worked with Burgess before at Port. The only issue I would have is this... Is Goody a good listener.

Goody Presser (2/8)
This concerns me... Is he stubborn, delusional or maybe not willing to disclose what we are really doing. I hope it's the latter because tinkering is not going to fix this years problems.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
I'm not...I'm talking about draft position in relation to success of a KPF. You brought it up. Carry on...

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
History of the draft says most of the top KPF come from the first round... Of course it doesn't mean all first round picks will be guns but the law of averages says if KPF is outside the first round they have a much lesser chance of making it. So maybe that should be on the list if you are a recruiting guru.

Petracca gradually 'breaking out'
Had a thread on this recently 'Nev'...agree with you. "The Incremental Bang Theory" rather than the breakout game... 'Matsuo'...is off the mark with his comments. Trac has been our best forward by a long way this season & is growing in confidence. Spot on 'Chaser'...he's at his best when he has the confidence to take the game on.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
...because he who has been away has decreed GC will get the PP (pick 2).

Brandon Ellis (now a Sun)
Looked like being a player but this & the ability to handle a tight checking opponent caught up with him. Damaging if allowed to play on his terms but that doesn't happen these days.

Brad Hill
There's definitely no way I would part with the coin or pick 2 for Hill.
