if you read my post fully you will see that i am 100% behind neeld. the member forums seem to have been focused upon the process we went through to get him and so i see this as relevant.i can understand that some may see this as muckraking but that not my intention. As i member i think i am entitled to ask the question. if the story is true, then he saw our list as pretty poor. what i know want to know is what they intend to do about it. Once again, i am really happy we have neeld.

i heard a rumor on the weekend from a SA native. it was suggested that when neeld was offered the Melbourne job he called Steve Trigg at Adelaide to say that he had an offer, but he wanted to coach Adelaide and wanted to see where they were at. Trigg said that he sould accept the melbourne offer. For my part, i really like neeld and glad we ahve him so i am not having a go at the bloke. I also understand why he would do that. Adelaide have a far superior list which is obvious so far this season. I just thought it was interesting and thought that at the next members forum they put together i thought someone could put it too him.

completely agree on joel mac. in a perfect world he wouldnt be there but considering where our list is at, we need back ups such as him. I actually am very impressed with his desire over the last month. Magner and Nicho should be upgraded. again Magner is a tryer, but he hasnt got many mates around him doing the same. for what its worth here is my list of blokes that we could do without.bennel green davey moloney (doesnt appear to want to be there) dunn bate jetta (unless he shows something over the rest of year) sylvia (his time has gone) scully (oops, we already dumped that loser) I really like bail, he is never going to be a worldbeater but i just like him morton has shown slight glimpses of late, but worried that might be all he has. jurys out on spencer and fitzpatrick. injuries have not been kind not sure if bartram will be able to get his body right pettard doesnt seems to be able to take the next step. another year maybe. Priorities would be to make sure we get t mac and blease signed up. tom is obvious, but it seems that blease is not in favour as they continually seem to want to drop him. i reckon hes a beauty. eesh, its going to be a long crawl back up the ladder.

Someone needs to tell em there are plenty of blokes to drop before blease

Brock's obscene tweet shock Anyone know what he tweeted?

If anyone knows I'd be interested to hear of any other players that have had the same injury and how their recovery went

Slightly disagree. A few words I noted. McLardy and Schwab saying that we will be very active in trading recruiting and free agency. Intimated that the Mitch get will be repeated. Clint Bartram also said something odd. It went along the lines of them looking to finish off the year strong as a group as the group wouldn't be the same next year ... or something to that effect. All in all I got the feeling that there was no sugar coating of the list and that we had to go hard to build it up.

Maybe the selectors felt that it would not be appropriate for the boy to be playing against his new teammates for next year...that is if what you hear on these forums are true and sam is dying to be playing with his old mate tdollar next year. Would love him to stay as i reckon he will be super but at the moment the silence is deafaning.

nothing i have seen so far this year indicates to me he deserves it... no thanks.

the article makes it sound like he may struggle to come back at all.

got it, many apologies. did the old quick sneak peak at work look

sorry, but are you serious about clearing out clark and frawley?

Nev Jetta - long term injury list

We must get Nicholson and magner onto the senior list. Its also going to be a busy draft that we need to make room for. Unfortunately there are going to be some sacrifices and jetta is most likely to be one. It would be great if they could make him a rookie and give him a chance -
I have always loved Beamer. I was at the b and f when he potted brock and i cheered him on. two things have concerened me this season, the first being that in the games his played this year he has looked un interested. He was much better on saturday night but i would like to see him string a few together to be convinced that he is happy where he is. the other thing is that from many reports i have seen in this site, he was as goods as gone to the bombers at the end of last year but neeld wouldnt let him go. if true, this contradicts everything he has said today. I am hopeful for a happy ending and he gets back to the form we know he can produce and finishes his career at the dees. its just these points that worry me.

was sitting mcc level 1 and took a few bomber mates along. they were pretty confident all the way through. at the siren im jumping around like a crazy man. i look down at the two of them and they were deadpan. must admit they were happy for me. i have to congratulate the bomber fans on their response. they took it with grace.

Square Peg, Round Hole - Exactly why we need Neeld!!!!

just thought i would share a little snippet from the wikipedia page of sir Alex Ferguson. i would imagine he prefers the stick to the carrot. this gives me hope. "For the 1989–90 season, Ferguson further boosted his squad by paying large sums of money for midfielders Neil Webb, Mike Phelan and Paul Ince, as well as defender Gary Pallister and winger Danny Wallace. The season began well with a 4–1 win over defending champions Arsenal on the opening day, but United's league form quickly turned sour. In September, United suffered a humiliating 5–1 away defeat against fierce rivals Manchester City. Following this and an early season run of six defeats and two draws in eight games, a banner declaring "Three years of excuses and it's still crap...ta-ra Fergie." was displayed at Old Trafford, and many journalists and supporters called for Ferguson to be sacked.[45][46] Ferguson later described December 1989 as "the darkest period [he had] ever suffered in the game", as United ended the decade just outside the relegation zone.[47][48] However, Ferguson later revealed that the board of directors had assured him that they were not considering dismissing him. Although naturally disappointed with the lack of success in the league, they understood the reasons for the sub-standard results (namely the absence of several key players due to injury) and were pleased with the way that Ferguson had reorganised the club's coaching and scouting system." go dees -
hard to believe with the scorps sitting third on the ladder that we have no representation. is it because we are sending too many senior players down to casey?

its time to bring in couch and he should replace one of either moloney or sylvia. from all the jungle drums i am hearing a lot can be blamed on the senior players and their issues with the administration. maybe there are issues but you know what, these guys are paid and paid well to play football....full stop. They are living privlidged lives and as such should be thankful for every game of afl that they are selected to play in, no matter what the club and no matter who is in charge. They should be playing each game like its their last. at the moment this is not happening. yes we need senior players to help the youth coming through but right now the situation seems untenable and each week more damage has been done. in couch we have a player that would walk over his grandmother to play a game of afl. he has worked bloody hard to give himself every chance. he may not have the skills of the above mentioned and may not make the grade, but i have no doubt that what he will give is absolute passion. he will play like a man that may never get the chance again. to me its seems this is the lesser of two evils. i am and always will be passionate about my club. i will not walk away in dark times. i just want to see guys on the park that will bleed for their teamates. go dees

interesting to see that the umpires took great interest in Brendan exaggerating contact with robinson. he did it twice in 20 seconds to jordie mckenzie and do you think they look at that.......no the umpires hate us.

i had a shocker. i sit in the mcc with a few mates week in week out and we are not shy, but all in good form. had 3 people behind us with the rug over the knees (in their 30's mind you) who asked me not to stand up after we kicked a goal as this was disrespectful. my polite response was "i will try to stay sitting but as we are at the football sometimes i get a bit excited so i cant make any promises". my firend asked me to kindly remove my voice box as my eager cheering might upset a few. Had a hawks supporter in front of us at one stage keep yelling out boring. fair enough. but coming from a bloke who had been to the solariam one too many times and who didnt know any players names outside of buddy and cyril, i found this a little hard to swallow. it just seemed that they were all taking great delight in our misery. no better than a bully in the school yard.

Demons warned on draft tampering
demonoid replied to red and blue forever's topic in Melbourne Demons
at the end of this weekend it is more than likely we will be second from the bottom. if gws and gc play out a draw we will be stone motherless last. a sobering thought. -
id been keen on sewell just so we could get that cumani girl on board. no to batemen, he and schoenmachers effectively kept hawthorn out of a grand final last year.
